they are not in Perth they are about a 6 hour drive east of Perth at a place called Kalgoorlie and yes they are legal

There probably are. Licenced premises can be found in most Australian cities after massive purges of police corruption up to about 20 years ago. To prevent police corruption and for health reasons these places were regulated rather than allowed to run underground where there was no supervision.

There is one called Langtree's (well it's pronounced that anyway...dunno the spelling)...in Perth or Northbridge and I am sure there are others out there. I don't know if they are exactly legal as there is a debate in parliament at the moment to legalise them, but they are running with no interference from the police. There are also brothels in Kalgoorlie and one in Karratha that I know of.

Prostitution is legal in Australia and regulated. There are legal brothels in all capital cities and many smaller towns as well.

Yes it is true.
in 1947 one was started up, only lasted for one month than closed. No customers. None since than.
I have read that there are lots in america.
