I intend to go for a tour in Perth Australia for 7 days in April where 4 of the days are Easter holidays for the Australian. Are the shops and tourist spots open during these days? I am worried that there are little shops and eateries open and tourist locations are also closed. Can anyone advise? Thx.

I took a quick look at the listings of driving schools but a lot seem to cater to truck drivers and such. The few that did offer car lessons were about $40/hr, beyond my price range.
I am willing to bypass a school and pay a qualified teacher if necessary

Which suburb or city of Perth is the best place to invest? Now or in a few years time?

I am thinking of investing in Mandurah where a railway network is going to be built and it is close to the see too. Any advice and comments please? It is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

we'll (a couple) move to australia next year (2008). Is perth or its suburbs a good choice? which one? what kind of property to rent? what should I do for the first week stay (except hotel of course)?
On the other hand, we love sunshine and hate rainy weather. so which other city should be the best for us.

Hello all users!this might seem odd for some of you but im looking for a swimming pool in perth in which just men are allowed to swim at a specific time.My reason for this is that I am a muslim woman and my husband wont allow me to swim in a mixed pool due to religious reasons but he himself thinks its ok for muslim men to swim beside women in pools since they are men.
I deeply think its selfish and discriminating so as a revenge i hope to find a men's pool for him in perth.i think men and women should have equal rights.plz help! answer me:Are there any or not????

I intend to travel and work in Perth, Western Aust. next October. What Dept is responsible for employment of XRAY OPERATORS in WA? I have five years experience in this field. Can you help me with E-Mail or direct address Information please. I believe this may be a govt. responsibility as opposed to the responsibility of the airlines. Thank you in advance.

I hear that Perth is quiet with many beautiful beaches, but does quiet mean desolate? I'm in the USA and will be moving to Austrailia, but not sure where. If anyone out that has been to Charleston, South Carolina, you'll know what I'm used to...but I'm up for a change, just not too much hustle and bustle. However, the area I work in can be metropolitan, I just want to relax at home.

Thanks!
