You can call the Rockingham Visitors Centre on 95923464.
But it is kind of frowned upon to walk across there now coz people have been swept out to sea doing it and stacks of people have had to be rescued.
They even picked up one guy who was struggling in rising waters carrying a baby on his shoulders!
That said though, the ferry is a bit expensive.
Enjoy your time in Rockingham.

I suggest you refrain from attempting to walk across to the island. The sand bar is known as a shifting bar and where it was when you went over is not where it is when you want to come back. It sometimes appears to point back to the departure pount but only goes wither half way or heads off to Warns beach direction

It is also very dangerous, with rips and the occasional shark despite being called Safety Bay!
There is a ferry service to the island ,use that its cheap and far safer than risking being stranded half way back due to the fast incoming tide. The tides there are not consistent with the normal tide movements that are published daily at Rockingham. They can vary by 1 hour.

neither ==moses was a ficitional character plagarized loosely from the sumerian king sargon myth. The hebrews were never in bondage in egypt--thus the whole story is but an allegory.
