I live in Germany and my company wants to send a case of wine to a customer in California for Christmas? Is that possible? We would have to pay import duties of course, but my question is if it can legally be done? Does one need a permit or something. We have heard in passing that it is really difficult to do. This is really driving me crazy! I'm in China and I was shopping for hair shampoo and conditioner. I picked up a bottle of herbal essences shampoo and another bottle that looked like conditioner, but upon opening it I discovered, it's soapy not conditioner! The product is shiny and white and not smooth like condioner and it lathers. It's a red bottle with a rose on it. It's not transparent like the shampoo bottles. It's really driving me crazy since I cannot read or speak Chinese. I can't figure out what it is! Exactly anyways, I know it's some sort of clean. Does Herbal Essences make 2 in 1 conditioner or another product that would come in a bottle like this? Anyone know what this is?! I'm going mad!

Also, today, in the store I saw the same bottle with a hand soap pump. Do they make hand soap? Or body lotion like this?

(okay, I know it's not very important and I could ask someone who is Chinese and speaks English, but by tommorow I'll get over it and forget.) Thanks.

I was reading about Einstein and i found out about Karatheodoris and i felt bad for not knowing the man who was behind Einstein. I just wanted to know if anyone else knows about him. It is sad for some people that offered a lot not to be recognised.

reasons why this is bad:
1) if they do every scot working for the british government would loose their job.
2) every scot claiming governement handout would loose them
3) scotish government would have to b reformed
4) they would have to have a scotish army, navy & airforce
5) every scot would need a scotish passport cause their british 1 wud b void.
6) scotish imagration wud b needed.
7) Every scot living in england would need proof it was leagal for them to live & work in england.

I'm planning a Vancouver-California-Hawaiian cruise honeymooon. When in Calif, I was thinking of:
- San Francisco (city and alcatraz)
- Las Vegas (strip)
- Los Angeles (Hollywood, Theme Parks, Water park, Sea world San Diego)

Due to financial reasons, I have to drop one of the above places. Which would you suggest dropping?

Since I drive like in UK (left hand side), I am afraid to drive in Calif. Is transport between cities and within cities a good choice? safe too?
