About How much would a taxi from the vatican to monteverde be late on new years eve?

we probably plan to be at piazza del popolo but from there to monteverde might be expensive, so i though maybe we'd walk part of the way...perhaps to the vatican :-p

First of all you'll be lucky if you can get a taxi late on that night since for sure there will be just a few in service.
The normal fee during the night is around 5 € plus abt. 20 € x hour.
The cost will depend on how long it will take the trip (consider average cost around € 15 = around 20 US dollars).
However I wonder what you are doing in the Vatican the last night of the year:....!
