Just got a best answer from a young man using the name Robbie and I do not know if he was in Ireland or another country there is a Irish family live in County Cork Ireland.... By the last name of Kennedy and I have lost them... I don't believe that they realize they are a lost to me, that they left a lasting impression on me and my Girls, Joe's dad's name is Mr. Tony.... He took a picture of my baby girls in Florida while visiting Joe and his wife Carl and daughter Townsen. said that the people at the pup where every one hangs out will make the picture the talk of the town because he had such a great time with a black family. Carols little sister did the river dance for us. it was the best jumping up and down i have ever seen it spoke volumes of Irish history because it was beautiful movements... when seen on television I did not get its beauty as I did live in person..... Carol's mom is a bartender in County cork at one of the pubs.... would like to find them

My family in the past is from Cork and Sligo Ireland and their names were Healy/Cassin. I am trying to find a good way to try to find them because i want to find/meet them and possibly visit cause life is quite boring in the states. Any ideas on how to find them and if they are really my family?

Probably on the West coast of Ireland, just curious really if there were still any small towns where most cannot speak English at all and only communicate in Irish Gaelic.

I live in northern ireland and i usually call Ireland "down south" but why do some people say "Free state"? Is it that Protestants call it "down south" and catholics call it "free state"? I've always wondered...

My grandparents moved to America from ireland, and my mother is full Irish, but I am half Irish Catholic, and half African American. Am I eligible for citizenship in Ireland? Or would I not be considered "Irish enough" to be a citizen? Any help you guys could give me would be great.

My boyfriend and I are wanting to go and live and work in Ireland, most likely Dublin, for a while from about September next year. I was just wondering how easy it would be for us to find places to live and jobs? Do the Irish in Dublin mind English people going over and working? Do you know any good websites for finding places to live, or jobs, in Ireland?

Any advice anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated!

Haha ok, maybe not "lame", but here's the deal:

I'm from Canada, 22 years old, and for some reason I've been fascinated with Ireland since .... well, probably since I saw "War of the Buttons" when I was about 11 years old. I have no Irish in me, no family in Ireland - no connections at all.
But I'm dying to go there for some reason.
I want to walk on the cobblestone street, go to a pub, and have a pint. A total casual vacation.
Is this something that seems realistic? To travel all that way just to mingle with the Irish? Am I being weird, or do you Irish offer up a riot of a good time that will be worth the trip ;)
From Canada, with love :)

Why can't we get RTE Radio and TV in the 6 Counties on "Freeview". (Digital TV/Radio)
My RTE reception in Belfast is pretty crap on TV and Radio only available on Long wave for RTE Radio1, (forget Radio 2).
What happened the Good Friday Agreement? You get all the UK channels...come on boys lets share here.
