Limerick has St John's Castle and the Hunt Museum. When you're in Limerick, pick up a free copy of LEG, Limerick event guide, to see what's on for free around the city, this includes day and night life. There is a Paddy's Day parade (which you will most likely miss?) on, and if you're in the city early on a Saturday you could check out the Milk Market, it's nice with all the food stalls and goodies. Around the market there are all kinds of interesting places to eat, Indian, Eastern Mediterranean like Turkish, Moroccan, etc. There's also the Limerick Printmakers with regularly changing exhibitions.

Kilmainham jail in Dublin. It's very interesting, and some parts are supposedly haunted! Also, it has a fascinating history. Congrats on making the parade! Where are you from? Ireland is great! Ooh, while you're here, make sure to taste some of our world-famous potatoes and beef! Ooh, and tea and if possible, some home-made stew!

A walk by the river in Limerick can be quite nice - though the March weather might make it a bit chilly!
