I have been all over the US and Europe and each trip last only as long as my funds do, then it's back home to the 9 to 5 life. I am completely addicted to traveling. I need some ideas on how to make my traveling last longer on less money. Any and all tips are appreciated. Also pen pals and travel companions are welcome...... Favorite place in the world, Amsterdam, followed closely by Paris.

If you're a good writer you can write articles about your travels and sell them to magazines.
Also if you find great deals you can buy them and resale them on ebay or craigslist.
You could buy a small motorhome to save on hotel cost.
You could house swap. I think lots of places on the internet offer that.

One of my best friends has been living in England for 4 yrs now and she loves it. She works and lives (her accommodation is free) in a pub in London. She gets a wage and some of her meals are provided. This makes it easy for her to save and when she takes time off from work she travels. She has been all over Europe, South America, Asia. She has never found it hard to find work in the UK. She is also addicted to travel and finds this an easy way to go. Good luck.

I don't know what your 9 to 5 job is at home, but can you do it as you travel? Get a job in each place you visit and stay until you earn enough to move on. Have fun!

Get a job on a cruise ship? They have round-the-world cruises.
Write for a travel magazine? Photography? In essence, try to find a career that requires you to travel extensively. That way you will be doing what you love and getting paid for it!
Hope this helps!

Go to sea. You travel as you work, then you can take extended vacations using the pretty decent money you never spent because you were on the ship. Everyone else has suggested cruise ships, but there are more cargo ships out there than cruise ships.

I have a Scottish friend that worked for First Scottland Bank. He started to work badly and got fired, i don't really know how, but he worked it so that he ended up with a sweet "liquidacion" (don't know the english word). Between that and his savings, he travel round the world.
