Well Maine is definitely the farthest north, and are you referring to Washington DC or Washington State, Washington State would actually be northwest, it's actually on the Pacific Coast.

It's probably Maine. But, Michigan is the furthest up north of any state, look it up.

Well, both states are about parallel to each other so neither of them is farther north
