According to the Bible God sent His Son into the world to do His will. This involved many hard to understand things. Of course He must: correct the traditions of man regarding His laws; fulfill all prophesy regarding His coming; live a perfect and sinless life: heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead; be tortured and killed in the most inhumane and horrible manner known to man and He must shed His blood for the remission of sins. He then must be buried for three days and after that be raised from the dead. He then must be seen of many and ascend back to His Father in heaven. This final act on earth at His first coming completes His mission with zero defects and accomplished all the will of the Father. According to the Bible we as humans must believe these things and trust in Him for our salvation or we are damned forever.

If this is true, which I know it is, what would you do to those who rejected and spurned your only begotten Son's work on earth and what will God do

but my question to atheists is, r u an atheist or an eggnostic?

atheist - belives in no being just evolution.

eggnostic - believes in a being just not sure what it is. for example, a person who dosn't believe in the bible but believes that everything is controlled by something.

and y do atheists have to have proof. it's like, there so shallow they need actul proof because faith isn't enough. look outsside your window, all the beautiful trees and wildlife. how do u think that all got there, i suppsoe evolution just made it right?

If Jesus' blood really allows us to go throughout life sinning to our heart's content and still make it to Heaven then why did Paul say in his letter to the Romans that Jesus' grace is -not- a free pass for us to embrace the carnal, sinful nature that we are born with?

Gays and lesbians cant get married? Divorce and remarrying are all "sins". Why do people see gay and lesbians as a bigger sin? Love is love. As long as it is two adults that love each other why cant they get married?

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

This is kind of a poll. I'm not trying to debate anything right now.

My question is directed to people who understand evolution.

How many creationists have you encountered (through conversation or exchange of emails) that you thought had a relatively good understanding of evolution?

Please provide the number of creationists you've encountered, then the number you thought actually understood it.

example: I've known about 100 creationists but only 3 that actually understand the scientific concept.

If you wish, you can provide the same for evolutionists.

example: I've known about 500 evolutionists and about 300 of those have understood it.

Thanks in advance.

My question is in regards to communication via particular religions to God, i'm 16 and i WANT to have faith in a higher power, i was a muslim (my dad is one and so naturally, so was i) and i'm sorry if this is wrong or offends you but pretty much all of it was just praise to God (Allah) and its more or less the same with Christianity and Sikhism (the only three religions i know "well" of) again, this is all from my perspective - correct me if im wrong.
I dont believe connecting to god should be done by praising him, im not sure what one should say during prayer but i think it should be more on the lines of "Hi God, i've been feeling a little down today, not sure if its because of this or this but i think the only way i can be happy is by doing this" It sounds really trivial and unspectacular but i think its better. Lol anyway, back to the question...

How does your religion/ a religion connect to God with the words/ communication used?
and
Any thoughts on what i've said?

If a self-proclaimed Christian

Believes in Evolution…
Want to be politically correct…
Does not know the Bible very well…
Has doubts about Hell and a God that sends people there…

Then how good of a witness can they be to the unsaved?

They gather together into the Lord's name each week. The spend time loving the Lord with psalms hymn and spiritual songs around the Lord's table as they declare His death and remember His Person with all His attainments. Each one has a song so there is not " song leaders" taking away that function. If you enjoyed a hymn during the week or song you are free to share it. They break the bread and drink the wine in simplicity of heart and in oneness. Prayer is mixed in with praise to the Lord. They worship the Father for His great plan of salvation in sending His Son. The word is not shared by only one but by all the members. They feed on the word together all week long and each one functions to prepare a small portion to bring to this spirtual feast. After the spuritual eating they meet afterward to enjoy a meal and more fellowship. What do you think of this way of believers meeting together as the church?
Please share your honest feeling.

The worlds philosophy is tolerate do not condemned!?
Why does the world teach us, that we must tolerate everybody's wrong doing? Did Jesus tolerate sin no! Did any of the apostles, tolerate wrong doing? They confronted the problem and told them to repent. Why are Christians so naive today? Are you really reading the word of God? They are fallowing New Age beliefs. Do you really believe that if all the Apostles were preaching this love and not condemned sin, that anybody would of killed them! We the Christians; are to be hated; by the world, and if everybody loves you guess who is not there. Jesus said if they hated Me they will also hate you. He also said in the Gospel of John the world hates Me because I keep telling them that their ways are evil.( John 7:7.) Can you tell me-- about this word tolerance? I hate it. Sure Jesus had tolerance for the sinner, but never for the sin. Can you see the where this is leading. Where is the fear of the Lord, and how is, one to repent, if all is justified by the world’s tolerance. Christians we need another John the Baptist today. The whole body of Christ is being deceived by the New Age. Why does the world keep telling us to be tolerant? And were does justice take place. Today’s thinking brains! Today we have the smartest technology but we forgot our morals, and now we stand at the brink of disaster waiting to happen. We need to obey the laws Yeshua--Jesus has given us in His Holy Word the Bible. Anna http://www.jesussalvation.org

I was raised as a Protestant and am considering converting to Catholicism. My wife is a Catholic and it is much more important to her than my form of Christianity is to me. We've decided to raise our children as Catholics. The next logical step is for me to convert. However, I am pro-choice, pro-death penalty, and pro-birth control. Would it still be possible for me to become a Catholic?
