Does God hate people who have a high opinion of themselves who take great pride in how they look and what they have and smite them and send them to Hell?

It just says that pride is right before a down fall. I know of religions that have a lot of pride and declare themselves the only right religion, this is also pride but to them they really believe it! It depends on a lot of things, I take great pride in what I've done in my life but I do not boast about it. It's a great achievement that you have done so good in life.

God hates pride (Proverbs 8:13). The Bible tells us that, “pride brings destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly than to live it up among the rich and famous (Proverbs 16:18-19). The Message paraphrase of Proverbs 16:5 goes on to say that, “God cannot stomach arrogance or pretense; believe me, He’ll put those upstarts in their place.”
Throughout scripture we are continuously told about the consequences of pride. Satan was cast out of heaven because of pride (Isaiah 14:12-15). He had the selfish determination to replace God Himself as the rightful ruler of this world. But Satan will be cast down to hell in the final judgment of God. For those who rise up in defiance against God, there is nothing ahead for them but disaster, because “I will rise up against them” is the promise of the Lord. He will cut them off (Isaiah 14:22).

God is incapable of hate...it is what comes out of peoples mouths that God hates, not the person saying it because He knows that any man if he so chooses can change simply by asking and wanting to... you will never be perfect, remember your corporal self may be beautiful but your spirit may look like hell...God cares how you think about life, he wants you to be happy, and he tells us to be helpful to one another, through Jesus He tells us to bring yourselves up you first must lower yourselves, this is why Jesus washed the feet of His disciples the night before He was crucified...it was a lesson He was teaching us. it is not always bad i am a muslim but i read about many other religions and it all says that too much pride is not good it is best to be humble. but do not lower yourself very much either be confident but not conceded if that makes sense to you

If you are a White Male Straight it is bad but the rest of the world it is good to have pride.
