When Jesus returns.
When will that be? Nobody knows, and he didn't tell us. Just be faithful until he does, or until you die and meet him. It might end in an hour, or in a thousand years.

Clearly the world is quickly nearing its final moments, just watch the nightly news. We do not know however the time when it ends because the Bible doesn't give it. But the Bible does give signs to look for, and according to the signs we are at the door. Natural disasters, moral degeneracy, increase of knowledge, etc. are all signs that Christ is about to return.
Some people may say that we always had these problems, and that's true. But the Bible says that the frequency and intensity will increase. The word "sorrows" in Matthew 24:8 comes from a Greek work "odin" which means birth pains. Just like birth pains increase in intensity and frequency so will the signs predicted in the Bible. The recent increase in earthquakes, diseases, etc. all testify that the end is very near and we are living in Earth's final moments of history.
I recommend watching the amazing movie called "Final Events" which captures Earths' final moments, the rapture, tribulation, antichrist, etc. -- http://www.youtube.com/profile_favorites?user=AmazingFacts
I also recommend watching the short presentation called "A Planet in Upheaval" which is the first in a series of five dealing with the Second Coming of Christ. Go to http://www.itiswritten.com/podcasts
find "The Appearing" and click on iTunes podcast.

A lot of Christians believe that the world will end when Christ returns. This is based on a bad translation of the underlying Greek word AION which is most often translated as "the end of the world" or something similar. The earliest versions of what we call the New Testament were written in a form of Greek common at the time of Jesus.
This Greek word is where we get the word "eon" from. It would probably be more accurately rendered as "age," so when Christ told the disciples he would return at the end of the AION he was saying he would return at the end of the age, not the end of the world.

Many many moons from now. Not in our lifetime. Many people will probably comment that the end days are near, but society has been saying this forever. We will NOT see the end days in our lifetime. And don't even start with 2012.

Only God knows that answer. You can guess all you want too, but only God knows what hour He cometh. So until the time comes, live a good, happy, Christian life.
