Babies were shown a video where a character is trying to climb up a hill. Another character comes along and pushes it down the hill. Next, another character pushes it up the hill. 14 out of the 16 babies chose the character with the higher morales - the character that tried to help.

We can agree that these infants don't understand God at this age, but they still have morals.

What do you think of this research?

Heads.
Do you do that in the states as well?
I mean the point crown thing, do you have Christmas crackers and I not talking about the Vulcan on star trek Enterprise dressed as Santa.

Things you pull at the table.
Oh this ain't all that well, Let's just stick to the crowns
Do you wear them?

There was these people protesting outside of a wedding. And when I was driving by all I could think was "there's a divorce court right over there." So why do (hardcore) Christians protest when gay people are getting married but not when people are getting divorced?

Do you do them? Are they the first thing you do or is that a means of last resort?

My pat answer is, A spell is a prayer with Props. And NO, my spells are the means of last resort. I rarely end up having to use spells to get what I want done. I look at spellwork like trying to kill a mosquito using a howitzer. I'd rather use just enough to get the job done and not one bit more. So I use every mundane means to accomplish the task BEFORE I rely on using help from the spirit world.

...if the sacrifice--or propitiation--of Christ consisted of him taking the full legal penalty of sin, why is Christ not damned to hell for all eternity?

Many people say, "just let them believe whatever they want too". If you do that are you really interested in their eternal life.
I feel that ifyou have something important you will be very anxious to share it. You can get very convincing with a little cuth. Shoving any believe down someones throat is a talent that has been reserved for the popes.

This is to those people who answered my last post.

Tell me now, you who call God sadistic, evil, hate-filled and the like, why it is that you say those things.

How is God hateful?

What possesses you to view God in that way?

What's wrong with being monotheistic?

There are verses in The Holy Quran where Allah warns The Believers about The Hypocrites, and that they (the Hypocrites) will be in the lowest depths of the fire.

But how can you tell if they're hypocrites when they practice Atheism behind closed doors?

My love seems to always make me feel like i am unworthy and dirty and full of sin.She tries to make me prove my love for her over and over. She tends to be a bit egotistical and gets mad if i talk to people who don't think that she is the greatest thing ever. She threatens to torture me if i look at anyone else or if i learn things that are not in her "how to love me"manual. She has convinced me that without her in my life i am worthless and will certainly live in pain. She has a very violent temper and has no problem slaughtering anyone that doesn't give in to her demands. She makes promises that things will get better but she still controls me through fear and intimidation.I am probally better off without her but i'm afraid to think for myself and make my own choices in life.Should i continue with this relationship?

Alright I am Roman Catholic myself and I am not opposing God in any way, so don't go ballistic and flame me in every word you type.

Now answer me this, is anything proved in the bible? Why is our DNA closest to the monkey and why is evolution false? Also if evolution was so battered by creationists, why would Pope John Paul II embrace evolution and say, "Evolution is Compatible with Christian faith". I mean, you cannot say this man was an idiot, he was the Pope! Please explain.

yes she was the mother of Jesus Christ, however she's not the one that came to save us from our sins. so why do catholics pray to her? you should be praying to the one who CAN answer those prayers...

The majority of men of science believe that in the beginning the universe started in an explosion, namely the "Big Bang."

In bible it states, in the beginning God created the Heaven(s) and the Earth and that the Big Bang will occur in the future.

2 Peter 3:10

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

They say that it's by chance that there's life on Earth.
It's by chance that there's water on earth so animals and plants can drink and survive.
It's by chance that most of the gases aren't colored so the sun will not be veiled.
It's by chance that there's rain so it will shower the plants.
It's by chance that the earth is in the right location, not too far or too near from or to the sun.

Do you believe that God intelligently designed the Earth?
If us humans designed cars, who designed us?

I stopped into Hallmark yesterday to buy one a Collectable ornament for my Mother-in-law's Christmas tree.

A lady was an aisle over with her daughter pointing at a Santa Clause display.

"See? S-a-n-t-a... now just rearrange the last three letters and what do you get?" - woman
"I donno mommy" - girl
"S-a-t-a-n. Santa is Satan's way of stealing Jesus' birthday and taking the focus off of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That is why when your friends get excited about Santa it makes Jesus sad. But Jesus gives us little clues so we can tell what is from God and what is from the devil. It's important to keep a watchful eye." -woman
"oooh" - girl

My mom just yelled at me for listening to a band called Godsmack.
She says it's blasphemy to have a name like that.
This is her first religious outburst in a while and it caught me off-guard so I didn't have time to explain how they got that name.

One band member had a cold-sore and another one was teasing him for it. The next day, the guy who was teasing him about hit, had one. Sully (the lead singer) said that God had smacked him. Therefore, Godsmack.

It doesn't sound blasphemous to me, but what do you think?

They rock by the way.
