There are verses in The Holy Quran where Allah warns The Believers about The Hypocrites, and that they (the Hypocrites) will be in the lowest depths of the fire.
But how can you tell if they're hypocrites when they practice Atheism behind closed doors?

8. Of the people there are some who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last day;" But they do not (really) believe.
9. Fain would they decieve Allah and those who believe, But they only decieve themselves, And realize (it) not!
10. In their hearts is a disease; And Allah has increased their disease: And grievous is the penalty they (incur), Because they are false (to themselves).
11. When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," They say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!"
12. Of a surety, they are the ones Who make mischief But they realize (it) not.
13. When it is said to them: "Believe as the others believe:" They say: "Shall we believe As the fools believe?"- Nay, of a surety they are the fools, But they do not know.
14. When they meet those who believe, They say: "We believe;" But when they are alone With their evil ones, They say: "We are really with you We (were) only jesting."

Hypocrites are those who make claim to a faith, and then don`t show it in their every day life.
A good example is a suicide bomber..!!
Edit I`m one of your dislikes an Atheist (they apear twice on your list so I`m a double dislike) nevermind Atheists are very understanding and forgiving. But how do you come to terms with disliking yourself "monotheist". Which all good Muslims are..!!

I think the verses in the quran regarding the hypocrites and the lowest depth of fire are refering to believers that believe and disbelieve according to favorable circumstances:
4:145 Lo! the hypocrites (will be) in the lowest deep of the Fire, and thou wilt find no helper for them;
This has nothing to do with steadfast disbelievers (atheists).

There are verses in the Bible, too, about them.
We can never truly know, in this text-only forum, how or if someone has truly exercised saving faith in Jesus Christ. They may be able to put on a good show, and/or say a lot of the right-sounding things, but only God knows for sure.
All we can do is observe, because as Jesus said, "by their fruits ye shall know them".

Why do you care if people are atheists behind closed doors? Do you plan on TP-ing their houses or something?
This is WHY people often practice atheism behind closed doors. To protect themselves from loonies like you.
I pretend to be more spiritual than I actually am on a regular basis. This way, I get helped out with college applications, job interviews, conversations with my heavily religious great-grandmother after her husband just died, heavily-relgious friends who are a little too convert-happy...Why on earth should I expose myself to people like you?

you cant know whats going on in atheists head. they can be very good actors. there are so many homosexual believers but because of the religion, they dont tell their sexuality and everyone believes that they are heterosexual.
