If a person calls himself a Christian and believes in evolution, won't stand up in favor of God's word (which is not politically correct today), then that person isn't much of a Christian. Even Darwin admitted before his death that his theory of evolution was invalid. The Christian Bible teaches that God created the heavens and the earth and all things in them. Jesus said that if one denies Him in life, then He would deny knowing that person before God. A new Christian may not know the Bible well, but will surely learn. A person who is new and doesn't know the Bible well can witness by sharing their own personal experience that brought them to the Lord. If a Christian doubts hell and the Lords salvation, how can that person talk to others about it? If there is no hell, then there is no need for salvation or for Jesus. So, a person can call himself a Christian all he wants, but it doesn't mean that he truly is. The Bible addresses this when it speaks about the person who puts on a big show in prayer, repentance, etc. It says a person should not display himself, but to do so in private.

I'm a self proclaimed Christian meaning I proclaim to be a Christian.
I don't believe in evolution. Is anyone politically correct? No one knows the Bible perfectly. But it does clearly teach about Hell and it being every lasting....
We all need to know the fundamentals of salvation.

Christians are to go out and spread God`s Word. God`s Word is: Jesus, the only Son of God, left the glory of heaven and was born of a virgin. He suffered and died on a cross to save man from sin and condemnation. He rose on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father.
And that He will come again. Believe this and ask Jesus into your life to be your personal saviour and be saved.
That is it. Any questions people have about anything else can be directed to those who are educated in the scriptures.

Is salvation a matter of doctrinal integrity? If salvation depends only on faith -- blind adherence to a set of strictures -- then a person of little faith can't be much of a witness. If, on the other hand, salvation depends on acts, then a person who acts in a Christian manner can certainly be a good witness. While thoughts precede actions, so much of what today draws people's attention is irrelevant to actions. Does your belief in evolution prevent you from helping others in need? Does your uncertainty about the existence of hell keep you from leading an upright life? I don't think so.

What does evolution have to do with being a true christian?

What does politics have to do with being a true Christan?

Most Christians do not know their bible very well, that's why they are Christian! Atheists as a whole are often better versed in religious scripture than their christian counterparts.

Mother Theresa had some serious doubts.

What you've typed doesn't match the description of a "Christian". This is someone that thinks outside the box of Christianity. Christians won't typically walk around saying they evolved from a monkey - they believe in the whole Adam & Eve thing.

How prideful do you have to be to think you know the mind of a god or are capable of understanding the thoughts of a god? If your interpretation differs from someone else's, so what? You have no way of knowing if you are correct or if the other person is correct, or if neither of you are correct. Leave others to their beliefs and they'll probably leave you to yours.

With God anything is possible.
Do they have Love
because if I am not mistaken I think that love was the biggest thing mentioned in the bible.
You can do all the rules and everything it says but without love it's worthless.....

They are actually a poor witness.
This kind of 'Christian' puts a target on the backs of all true Christians.

What does memorising a book have to do with how good a christian is?
A good christian should be judged by their acts, not their knowledge.
And what does evolution have to do with it? Even the Catholic Church acknowledges evolution.
