I'm curious. To those that feel suicide is selfish, why do you think so?

I don't think it is. I've been suicidal, and I've attempted suicide many times. At that point, you'd give the world to make those around you happy - but that's the problem. You can't make others happy, if you can't even make yourself happy. When someone kills themselves, they're not thinking about taking something away from you. And who are you to say that you "own" a part of their life, and they're taking it away, anyway? Maybe some people have just never had someone in their life feel suicidal, or maybe you never have. I know someone that's had more than 20 people in his life either die, or leave him: His parents and other members of his family, his friends, and his friends' parents. He suffers from various mental illnesses, including schizophrenia. He can't live without doses of drugs and countless therapy sessions, and even then, he's barely alive. I guess I just don't understand how that's selfish. Why?

If you come across an image of Jesus and Buddha together, both smiling and at peace. Would you find it offensive or would it be a peaceful image?

Many years trying to understand this concept but I couldn't convince my self by the Formula 1+1+1 =1.Nothing in this world could at least make an approach to understand it.Examples should be reasonable not at random like many try to give and all fail to see how this god we worship looks like.

Well the church says that the story of adam and eve is a symbolic story and it never really happened. However we still have to baptise our children to remove the original sin that was made by adam and eve. If the story never happened hence no sin was made why do we still have to be baptised?

I have thought and wondered if suicide is considered blasphemy against God. From what I know blasphemy against God is a sin that is probably unforgivable.

I often wonder about how suicidal people deal with life similar to me. I don't understand why there are so many depressing misfortunes that are in my life. Why does God make us jump through so many hoops in life. Sometimes I feel as though I'm a circus monkey constantly going through hoops.

Don't get me wrong life isn't perfect but for those of us who are suicidal its not fair. Can someone clarify things for me?

I was just wondering if the christians who are boycotting and calling this film an insult to christianity also thought that some muslims were grossly over-reacting by being offended to the teddy bear named Mohammed?
Double standards anybody?
