I'm not very religious but it makes me curious to see how other people feel about the after life.

Well, as a Jew my faith teaches that all righteous people go to heaven, no matter what their religion or lack of religion.

I, like many believe Jesus Christ is the way to everlasting life. You say you are not very religious, and I suggest you stay non religious. Organized religion is what killed Jesus. Here is another story for you. When Gandhi was younger he was seeking out the religions of the earth, and of them all, Christianity appealed to him the most. When he went to a church (in Palestine I believe) he was rejected because someone didn't like something about him, and from there he turned to Hinduism and led something like 75 million people to Hinduism as well.. Some would like to blame the one or ones who turned him away, but if Gandhi would have sought out Christ instead of the religion, then he would have found Christ and seen the foolishness in religion. You see? Gandhi sought religion and found religion, but what if he would have simply looked for a savior? Jesus is "the way the truth and the life". Jesus also said " if you abide in My words you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."

No one can know for sure if there is a heaven or not until that time comes...I believe that we do go somewhere after life...and I also believe in reincarnation just because there is always a constant amount of mass in the world. We also sometimes have "past lives" so that could be an explanation for that. :)

I believe in heaven. There is nothing that you can do to get into heaven. A sacrifice has to be made before you can go to heaven. But wait Jesus has made that sacrifice for you to go to heaven. He died for the sins of all the people in the world. You cannot work your way into heaven. Just believe that Jesus has made that sacrifice for you. That is all it takes. The work that we do for Jesus is because we believe in him. I know that I owe him my life. I do not work to get into heaven... I work because I love my Jesus and believe in him and do what I can which is my reasonable service for him.

I believe that if you're a murderer or something horrible like that, of course you'll go to Hell. But if you've made a few slip-ups, then you shouldn't go to Hell because God is supposed to be forgiving. If you're a generally good person, you'll go to Heaven.

i think people make it more complicated than it really is...including myself...but it is no lie that it is hard to get into heaven, you have to love god...and in loving god, you have to be willing to do what he wants....for example reading the bible...studying it, understand it, so that you can apply it to your life...as long as you seek for him, continuesly throught the good AND the bad...and also PRAY i believe that you will make it into heaven....but you also have to be willing and have and open mind...
God knows you, and is not want you to change yourself...but he himself wants to change you...dont worrie about trying to do this or that...just worrie about what is written, and follow that the best way you know...HE knows you, and your heart, and dosnt think the way humans would...he forgives you no matter how many times you mess up (but also knows if you are asking forgiveness in vain)
LONG STORY SHORT....the whole point really, is to not give into temptation, staying constant prayer, and studying the
bible....keep his commandments...if you at least try your hardest...god knows and thats all that matters......also
people who live for jesus are more of a target for satan, because he sees that you are striveing for good, he wants to see you fail and die....so then he will put obsticles in your way so that you will curse god...or give up

Salvation through the Blood and work of Jesus Christ takes you to Heaven.
Nothing else.
I Believe in God and His dwelling place Heaven.

Since all the evidence shows that we are no more than our physical bodies, which cease to function when we die, there is no valid reason to believe any part of us can survive our physical death, and therefore no valid reason to believe there is anywhere like 'heaven' or 'hell' either.

The only way to get into heaven is to believe that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
That is the way to go to heaven and not eternal hell.

yes im catholic and u just need to be a good person and respect others and give to the poor. its all ways in the bible that this rich dude never gave to the poor and he went to hell but the poor dude went to heaven . over all just make the best of life live to its fullest, but dont forget to look around and help others out<3

I believe that you have to believe and follow Jesus. You need to have a relationship with God and strive to your best at all you do. You have to live God's will and help others. I believe in heaven.
