I don't think we need to "tell" someone what they "need" to do, however I think we need to spread GOD's everlasting WORD. That means showing the people gentleness and love like the way Jesus Christ did.
John 13:1 (NIV) Bible
[ Jesus Washes His Disciples' Feet ] It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.
Romans 12 - Living Sacrifices
1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
3For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. 4Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his[b]faith. 7If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
Love
9Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[c] Do not be conceited.
17Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. 18If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"[d]says the Lord. 20On the contrary:
"If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."[e] 21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Yes.
But, if the unsaved doesn't want to hear it-then today's Christian is obligated to leave them alone. This is a major problem with some factions of the Pentecostal and Independent Baptist churches. Some of these people do more harm than good. If you drive someone away from Christ-it is very difficult to bring them back.

As compared to YESTERDAY'S Christians? The whole idea of saved and unsaved is completely a misinterpretation of the biblical Scriptures. The idea of "saved" was concerning the dealings with ancient Israel about there place in the Kingdom. The Bible is a verifiable history, but it really confuses people when we try to put laws of Ancient Isriel to the religions of modern man. So no, just because you are taught that if you tell somebody to "confess with there heart that Jesus is Lord and confess that you are a sinner" does NOT give you kudo points for God as most Christians think. God loves all people equally, He gave us an amazing logic to deal with problems and there is NOTHING that anybody can do to make God love us more or less. Eternal life is a free gift for ALL men (even as unpopular as that may sound to the Christians), The idea of hellfire and damnation was about the Ancient Isrilites who denied the gospel message. They were DAMNED from being apart of the ruleship of the Kingdom (since they were the chosen people and the promise of Abraham) It was symbolic language. It has nothing to do with mankind today, yet the blind still argue with the blind on the subject. Read the bible thru the eyes of History and NOT thru the eyes of Theology and then and ONLY then will you understand the truth. (I know there will probably be many Christians quoting scriptures on why I am wrong, but you must really REALLY understand the context and the intendend audience before you start bashing me)

If we are to obey the great commission, then yes we should be warning people of their need for repentance.
The Great Commission is given in Matthew chapter 28, verses 19-20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Jesus gave this Great Commission to the Apostles shortly before He ascended into Heaven. The Great Commission essentially gives what Jesus expected the Apostles, and those who followed them, to do.

an undemanding recognize a high quality of Jesus i seen at present. interior the controversy the brother delivered out that once Jesus were baptized and went to the barren area for 40 days devil tempted him. The scripture referred to reported he became hungry. and you will think of in simple terms how hungry whilst devil pronounced for him to tutor a stone right into a loaf of bread...he might have thought for an prompt how starving he became yet spoke back...guy shouldn't proceed to exist bread on my own....yet by way of each expression of Jehovah's mouth. That splendid there proves that even in starvation circumstances Jesus became unselfish. He thought extra of his promise to God than his own gratification. he will incredibly be an unselfish chief with in elementary terms organic motives whilst coping with mere people.

Usually I'll wait til I get to know a person... let them know me and what I believe and let them see how well the Lord works for me and mine, our blessings and such. A great deal of what Christ teaches us is tolerance and respect for others so to just condemn someone you dont know would be a tremendous trespass. If you are patient and listening though, you will find the Lord will eventually speak to their heart through you-- see, you have nothing to do with salvation other than to be a vessel with which the Father can embrace his other children. God Bless and have a wonderful Christmas.

Yes. Spread God's Word and move on. Whether they believe or not, is up to them. Our purpose is just to tell them the TRUTH. It is their free will to decide which path to choose. May God be with them.

Christians are obligated to provide loving service (no strings attached) to those in the greatest need.Food shelter money.....
As to "warning," I leave you with the evidence of how its been received here. Moreover, I don't believe one's faith should be based on negative reinforcement and fear. All Christians should be empowered by the Holy Spirit to provide unconditional loving service to our fellow humans. It ain't about "me."
This is what bothers me so much about fundamentalist ideals, they are so "me-centric." "I'm going to heaven" "I'm saved" "I'm not going to hell (*but you are because you don't believe like this..."
Life here is NOT about getting to heaven. Its about uplifting our fellow humans here and now.
peace

Yes,
Mathew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Witness with your actions. For your words can cause people to question you. If your the salt and light people will see you are different and ask why.
Then you can witness effectively.
Witnessing is important, beating people over the head with a bible that they don't believe in... pointless.
