There are people running around calling themselves "vampires." You can meet those in vampiric-goth type groups.
You are way more likely to run into a "psychic" vampire though. Those are way more destructive, as they suck your energy right out of you. This leads to illness, depression, etc. I just got rid of one that intentionally fed off the emotional drama between us. He is getting very ill and will die eventually. Losing a key source of energy, and the backlash will do that. Intentional psychic vampires should have nine inch nails shoved in them from head to toe (symbollically of course) I would never go any place noted for them.

I believe there are people who ACT like vampires, sucking blood and such, but i dont believe there is ACTUAL vampires, the ones who NEED the blood to survive.
i have met the peeps that ACT like vampires

Yes, in my neighborhood theres actually quite a lot!,, yea, i know when people read that there going to think i'm a stupid retard. go ahead cause i'm not joking.
To answer your question if you want to meet some come to Pueblo, Colorado, if thats not to far to you, theres an area of town called "Sunset Park" go there and theres at least 1 or 2 on every block, im not kidding.
Wierd, when people think of vampires they think of wierd creeps in robes, that fly and have that weird Romanian accent,, there nothing like at at all, there accuatly very cool poeple,
But yea, once you go there go to 49 university Circle and ill introduce you to them. whoever reads this laugh all you want, cause i'm not kidding , i'm accuatly friends with most of them.

Vampires are not true at this time, but maybe if you wait another 1Million years something or someone may evolve into one....With evolution anything is possible. LOL

What kind of Vampire? Blood vampire, energy vampire...?
Some people can sit there and drain your Ki, and that is considered to be a type of vampire if they need others to collect Ki.
Blood vampires, I have heard of it... but it seems to be more of a fetish thing, than a need.

I don't really believe in them, but I won't dismiss the possability entirely. - If they did exist, I as sure as hell would want to be one!
