No, definitely not a pagan. If by Deist you mean you think God created the world and everything in it but doesn't involve himself directly in the world anymore, leaves the world to be governed completely by humans, then it doesn't match the Bible, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it pagan.

A deist believes that God created the universe and then abandoned it. A pagan does not acknowledge the God of Christianity, Judaism, or Islam. You figure it out.

I wouldn't consider it to be so at all. Considering the rejection of revealed religion is a primary tenant of the Deist philosophy, Deists would generally reject religious affirmations of any pagan (or otherwise) religion. Deism is a philosophy, not a religion.

No. A pagan worships pagan gods and nature. You are like Thomas Jefferson. You believe in a god--just not any organized religions.

I am on your side. I can't stand the phoniness of some religions. People claim to be religious but they still are not practicing being nice to their neighbors.

No but you are not saved and the Bible says you are not going to Heaven. Jesus is a God of Love, He came to earth and died on a Cross to wash away our sins. I guess the next question for you is to you believe you or other people are a sinner? If you believe you do sin and you feel guilty when you do then that is exactly lines up with the Holy Bible and Jesus. Jesus says in Matthew to Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Jesus will forgive you of your sins and if you accept him you can have a personal relationship with the creator of the universe. When you become a Born Again Christian Jesus sends the Holy Spirit to live in your heart and give you direct access to the throne of God, He puts a love in your heart other people simply don't have, or other religions for that matter, I was in the gulf coast twice this year, and 99 percent of the people there was Christians helping build homes, passing out food and cleaning up the huge mess that still exists. Christianity will take you to Heaven if you believe in Jesus Christ. I encourage you to read about the birth of Jesus in the book of Matthew as part of your Christmas this year, Jesus is the God of Love, and He wants to be involved in your every day life. If you any questions just send me an email, God Bless!!

Being a deist means that you believe God created everything but no longer plays a part in anything.
I think pagans believe in many gods and are mainly accepting of all gods...maybe even allah, Christian God, etc.

*Related to deism...personally, I don't understand how this could be and don't believe it, but that is what it is.

How many deities do you believe in? Pagans are typically polytheists, though some believe all the gods and goddesses are manifestations of Gaia.... the great Mother.

Webster's dictionary defines a pagan as any non-christian, so technically yes. If you go by this definition, Jewish people, Muslims, and atheists are all pagans as well. If you ask those who define themselves as pagans, they will tell you that you are not one of them, but technically, by the dictionary's definition, yes you are a pagan.

Don't let that get you down. I'm a Buddhist, but by that definition, I am a pagan as well.
