If he doesnt give you a sign to reaffirm your faith and you become faithless isnt this his fault and not yours. Arent there so many nonbelieves out there because God never came through with a sign to help them believe. Isnt it his fault that they are non believers through his lack of personal intervention on their parts? Shouldnt it be give and take? I give him my faith and love and he answers my prayers(ALL MY PRAYERS). i know sometimes what people ask for isnt in their best interests but shouldnt they be allowed to find this out for thremselves?

I feel it is talking about both becuase you cannot be baptised by man and the bible say's be baptised in the Name of Jesus for the remission of Sins and for the confused God also left examples; Acts 2:38-40 (New International Version)
38Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call." 40With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation."

by being baptized in the name of the Lord, then why would it take anything less than that for anyone today.

Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

The people had done signs and wonders and cast out demons in his name. Surely only a born again Christian has the anointing to cast out demons. Jesus said a kingdom can't be divided against itself? And if these guys were Christians at some stage where they like prosperity teachers who fell away by serving the lusts of the flesh?

As evidenced in the Scripture, we see that Paul wrote " to the Saints at Ephesus" and " to the Saints at Corinth" and " to the Saints are Philipi" etc etc. My question is this. How could these people have been catholics when everyone knows that in catholicism one must first die physically in order to be cannonized? Who really thinks that paul was writing to a bunch of deceased cannonized catholics when he adressed his letters....to the saints? Oh, and are any of you catholics reading this....saints? Because if youre not, then how could be of the originals, because they were saints? And I guess that since youre not a saint ( if youre not ) then when paul writes " to the saints" he isnt writing to you. Am I wrong on this?

Do you ever get the slightest bit indignant that god says you are a sinner? This is an honest question to attempt communication and understanding. I don't believe but IF I did, then the idea of god saying I am a "sinner" and "my righteousness is as filthy rags" is really insulting to me. I don't think at all that I am a "filthy as rags sinner" In fact,I am quite moral in my actions. Do you just "accept" that you are BAD,or,do you FEEL like you are a sinner. Serious question

After Jesus was raised from the dead, we've not had a whole lot of signs that God is paying attention to us anymore. He used to send miracles and talk to people and rain wrath and judgement when we were bad. Then we killed his son. I mean sure the bible says one thing, but it's written by men. What if God intended Jesus to remain here and rule over us and we just killed him? Wouldn't he then sort of get it through his head that we're hopeless and wash his hands of us?

There are no more miracles. Not true miracles that in no way could be seen as coincindince as well. God doesn't talk to anyone anymore. (Besides crazy homeless people or evangelists looking for money if you take my meaning) there's not even anymore judgement. If he doesn't burn Los Angeles and New York to the ground, he should dig up Sodom and Gomorrah to apologize. So other than individuals wanting to believe...how do we know God hasn't just given up on us? After we killed his son, not alot has shown that he cares..
