Is it kind of going in the way that
man will believe anything as long as it is not in the Bible?
Not an attack, just food for thought.
Also isnt evolution (for its lack of evidence) a kind of blind faith?

If the Grand Canyon was created by the flood waters of Noah's flood wouldn't you expect it to be like a deep trench? more like a norwegan fjord (glaciers) just look at the peaks in the rock:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Canyon they would not be present if a great torent of water had fled down there - would it?

The book of Job is about how Satan bet's God that his most devoted follower would curse his name if his good fortune were reversed. Satan and God seem to have no more enmity toward each other than a pair of old friends who know each other a little too well...God lets Satan do his worst to his most devoted follower, the guy loses everything, his family all die horribly, and its all just for their personal amusement, like a bar bet.

Mine is :
"You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace with your soul."

How does this make you feel?

The verses in the Holy Quran forbid Muslims to insult anything that is viewed as a deity by any religion, regardless of whether it is a person, a stone, a stick or a tree.

Islam wants its adherents to be just to every human being.

"Do not let your hatred of a people incite you to aggression." (The Quran 5:2).

"And do not let ill-will towards any folk incite you so that you swerve from dealing justly. Be just; that is nearest to heedfulness" (The Quran 5:8).

"To remove something harmful from the road, is charity."

"Charity erases sins just as water extinguishes fire."

"He is not a perfect believer, who goes to bed full and knows that his neighbor is hungry."

"Show mercy to people on earth so that Allâh will have mercy on you in heaven."

I think it's time to amend the Constitution to remove the so-called Establishment Clause that prevents the State from expressing a view on religious matters.

Fact is, we're a Christian nation. We shouldn't be clogging up courts with ridiculous lawsuits over Christmas trees, nativity scenes, the Ten Commandments, the Pledge of Allegiance, or "In God We Trust" being on coins. They have a state religion in the UK (the Anglican Church) and it works just fine.

What is your opinion of this fatwa, backed by over 120 islamic groups?

"Islam strictly condemns religious extremism and the use of violence against innocent lives. There is no justification in Islam for extremism or terrorism.

Targeting civilians' life and property through suicide bombings or any other method of attack is haram – or forbidden - and those who commit these barbaric acts are criminals, not 'martyrs'. In the light of the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah we clearly and strongly state: 1. All acts of terrorism targeting civilians are haram (forbidden) in Islam. 2. It is haram for a Muslim to cooperate with any individual or group that is involved in any act of terrorism or violence. 3. It is the civic and religious duty of Muslims to cooperate with law enforcement authorities to protect the lives of all civilians. We issue this fatwa following the guidance of our scripture, the Qur'an, and the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad - peace be upon him."

A Christian who believes in Christ, but swaggers with an air of self importance, or a Heathen who does not believe in Christ, but is humble and kind?

I've noticed a lot of Christians on this site with a sense of entitlement to pride, but a religion has to be joking when these kind of people are chosen over actually kind and humane people...

If you deny that then you deny all that your faith is based on as from my understanding Chrisitianity is based on the Old Testament Prophets and Jesus referred back to them continually.

There are lots of people (anti-Mormons, ex-Mormons, Christians, Atheists, Agnostics, etc) on here that spend lots of time and energy talking about what Mormons do or don't believe and why you shouldn't listen to Mormons, read the book of Mormon, etc.

What I'm interested in knowing is this:

What is it that you actually believe and teach??? (so leave out anything regarding the mormons).

Good example: My belief is that Christ is my savior.
Bad example: My believe is that Buddha is NOT my savior.

(I realize that this will be very hard for you to do without bashing Mormons, but please exhibit your intelligence and try)
I understand that you think "Joe Smith" was a phony, that you don't think we believe in "your Jesus", that the Book of Mormon is a counterfeit, etc, etc, etc. Please don't post that here. We can read it anywhere.

What is it that you actually believe???

(And again...no bashing on this post...lets see if you can do it)

....did I mention no bashing here???

Look in the mirror- touch your forhead, your chest, shoulder to shoudler- you just made and upside-down cross! This is very common amoungst satanic practice as it is a sign of rebellion against Jesus Christ. Kinda splitting the purpose of Jesus Christ with a born sinner like His mother- Mary.

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6 (KJV)

No man! Jesus is the only way. The broad teachings of the catholic church confuses many into wicked faiths, and that's sad.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
to beware of false prophets
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matt 7:13-15 (KJV)

Straight is the gate...
