I've been on my knees in such a weep the whole church thought somthing was wrong with me. They asked if I was alright. I was getting angry at them cuss I was the lord at the time, and I didn't want to leave. I said I'm fine, I'm fine. I had to lose that heart I had on the lord, I was so in the spirit that day. It felt so good, so relaxed after it. Has anyone experianced this? what is your experiances other than this.

I had communion at church today and the sermon was on Remember Me. Pastor Rob talked about the thief on the cross and he said to Jesus. Remember me when you come into your kingdom. And he talked about Jesus remembering our brokeness and healing us where we are. (we also had a human video of the song Remember Me) (a human video is like a music video but done live not on tape.) For me, I rejoice that because of His shed blood I am free from my sins and by his stripes I am healed. How about you? What does communion mean to you?

How come we are told not to get any body piercings since our body is a Temple, but they allow our ears to be pierced? Why the exception? I understand the reasons for the rule and it is mentioned in the bible not to do anything to harm or defile our bodies. Since when is it okay to only harm our ears? I don't understand this.

I'm all out of answers for today, so I have to amuse myself with questions until they run out--I think for my next profile I might come back as a siamese cat--would you know it was me?

...that the tragedy of New Orleans is a result of God deliberately "washing away all of the sin"? This is what a minister in our community wants us to believe.

I go to Catholic school but am Protestant and have to write an essay about my opinion on the depravity of mankind. Can anyone tell me for sure what the official teaching of Rome is on depravity; that is, can man earn any part of his salvation, or did Christ earn all of it for us?

Thanks

I'm sorry if I'm getting redundant with all this Harry Potter talk but I'm really having a hard time with this. I've been reading Potter books for years and years so it is no light decision for me to give them up. I know J.R.R. Tolkien was a Christian and Ms. Rowling is not but other than that, there's magic in both books. What's the difference between the two? Why is one more widely condemned then the other? And if you're Christian do you read both, or just one, and why? If you want, throw C.S. Lewis into the mix as well.

It was just brought to my attention by an investigator that Colossians 2:16 says, "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days."

Why then are we counciled not to partake of caffeine, wine ect?

We only witness to the lost about Jesus. So they will know the truth and have the chance to accept Jesus. So they can go to heaven and not hell. Jesus is the only way to heaven and everlasting life! Without Jesus in your life. There is only hell. People hate christians because they tell the truth and some people are scared of the truth. so they use hate. Christians have love in there hearts. Jesus is love!
