I had communion at church today and the sermon was on Remember Me. Pastor Rob talked about the thief on the cross and he said to Jesus. Remember me when you come into your kingdom. And he talked about Jesus remembering our brokeness and healing us where we are. (we also had a human video of the song Remember Me) (a human video is like a music video but done live not on tape.) For me, I rejoice that because of His shed blood I am free from my sins and by his stripes I am healed. How about you? What does communion mean to you?

Amen, I love to receive the bread and the wine!

I popped into a church that is the only one that is regularly on, of an evening, where I live. And I received the bread and the wine, and then we stood an sang a song, and that was it! People started packing up! - lol
I was unaware that they had started Church an hr earlier - for winter?

The Holy Communion is the most deeply spiritual, Holy part of the or a service. Very much a time segregated to just God and you - me.

Unfortunately, because of the mere size of our church, communion is celebrated once per quarter.

I miss being in the smaller church (about 30 members) back north....when we celebrated it on the first Sunday of the month.

Communion means doing what Jesus told us to do....in memory of Him. I take it very seriously. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11 that we can get sick if we take of the emblems in an unworthy manner meaning.....harboring sin.

I make sure to ask for forgiveness from the Lord before partaking of these emblems. But I also know that the emblems have no saving value and that they are what they are: A cracker and some grape juice. What they represent is more important than what they truly are.

We always have communion on the third Sunday of the month. When I take communion I imagine that I am there at that last supper with Jesus, HE just washed our feet and we are sitting down to eat. Jesus takes the bread and blesses it, then HE passes the pieces to each of us and tells how this is for our healing. Then HE takes the cup and likewise blesses it and tells us that this is for the redemption of our sins.
I like to imagine I am present at the events themselves.

Yes, I took Communion today. The Holy Eucharist is very meaningful to me. It memorializes the sacrifice of Christ, and the unfathomable love that it took for Him to die on the Cross. It's a way of drawing closer to Christ, and uniting in His love with fellow Christians.

Nope I go to church on the sabbath just like Yashua and Paul did.

Nope I didn't take communion which is a corruption of what Yashua was teaching his diciples and if you go read what Paul says about it it should be tied to Passover and only Passover.

Yahshua may heal us where we are but where we need to be is in a state of genuine repentance. You will notice that Yashua told the people he healed to go and sin no more. Yahshua's message was "Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand". Peter told the crowd on Pentecost "Repent and be baptised for the remission of sins.

Just "how I am" is a myth perpetuated by the enemy. He requires true heartfelt repentance. Repentance is not just feeling bad because you have sinned. The word for repentance literally means to turn around. True heartfelt repentance means that you now walk toward God and not away from Him. Where there is no repentance there is no forgiveness of sin.

Now I might have the tenor of what was said wrong because you have such a small space to tell what you heard and if thats true I'm sorry. However what I am telling you is truth. You have to start walking toward God by virtue of obiediance and away from sin which is lawlessness to recieve forgiveness.
