1 - Read about Him in the Bible. The 1st four books of the Bible are called the Gospels and tell of Jesus' life. Also, read the Old Testament's prophesies concerning the coming of the Lord.

2 - Pray to Jesus to know Him better. Because He wants you to have a closer relationship with Him, He will definitely answer "Yes" to your prayer.

3 - Spend time in fellowship with those who love the Lord. These mature Christians will help your spiritual journey.

God bless.

We should include God in our daily lives the same way we would any other member of our family, only a much more important one! We should pray to Him, read His word, and meditate on verses in an effort to get to know Him better and be able to do His will. We should pray for wisdom, which is the most valuable asset we could ever have. We should take our requests to Him, asking in Jesus' name. Jesus said, “You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name” (John 15:16). Jesus is the one who loves us enough to give His life for us, and He is the one who bridged the gap between us and God. And God is the one who sent Jesus to do it; they are one in the same, and both deserve all of our honor, praise, and worship.
We should pray without ceasing, read the Bible, and join a Bible-believing church; all these things will grow us spiritually. Trusting in God to get you through each day, and believing that He is your sustainer is the way to have a relationship with Him. Although you may not see changes immediately, you will begin to see them over time, and all the truths will become more clear.

Read the bible.
I know that sounds very predictable and you were probably expecting that answer...but its a really good one! You should really try and focus on his word.
I would get involved in a church and all that jazz. I would everyday thank him for everything and start noticing all of the miracles around you and all of the blessings you have, just praise him for it all. Talk to him, he's my brother, my friend and my savior. Pretty neat huh?
Praying in an awesome way to know Jesus better but sometimes instead of talking away and asking for everything maybe you should just sit and listen. You probably wont hear anything, jsut sit there queitly "Be still and know that I am God"
Remember, God gave us two ears and one mouth...so we can listen twice as much as we talk.

It's said in the Bible:
Hebrews 1:1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

The Bible tells us of things that he cares about. I would read all of the Gospels. At least. But I would also read all of the new Testament, and don't underrate the change that will occur in you if you are going to trust him for what he says.

Give of yourself to others in his name, love your enemies, as he said to do.

There is so much to go into. But the basis of your relationship is to know that he won't steer you wrong. You can trust him. He is trustworthy. If you are going to try to know Jesus more, then know that he wants you to have peace with God through him, and that you have to trust him. I cannot emphasise that enough.
