A person responded to the earlier question about hell saying that you will literally burn. When life is over and our bodies have decomposed, how can we burn? Is it supposed to be a metaphor? Some people don't seem to interpret it that way. How do you feel pain in hell when your 5 senses are gone.

There is a conspiracy among scientists to only pay attention to evidence that supports evolution and to ignore evidence that goes against it.

Did you know that they found tools and pottery that were dated to be about 50 million years old?

Also, if you look at a fossil of a shrimp that is tens of millions of years old, it looks EXACTLY the same as a modern shrimp.

The same thing goes for fish. They look the same too. They have not changed one bit.

The "theory" of evolution states that animals are CONSTANTLY evolving, so shrimp cannot look the same as they did millions and millions of years ago. You think the conditions were the same back then? Of course not.

So, logically speaking, the shrimp should have evolved, but they didn't. Why?

Because evolution is not true. You have to be an idiot to buy into that lie.

Agree?

Okay, I have heard many reference hell as being here on earth for the rest of eternity while others go on to a more peaceful place.
Do you believe this?
In my opinion, I would rather be in the hell I know than the heaven I don't.
Christians, tell me. Is the prospect of possibly coming into visual distance with God your reason for wanting to go to heaven?
This is a serious question/s and I am not preaching, nor am I bashing anything.
Thanks.

if God is the creator and ruler of the universe - that would mean he wuould do trillion things each second! give life take life , make a certain leaf grow one way another another way ,while he causes an bycicle crash in Amsterdam and a lion kills a gazelle in Africa due to his wish! that just isnt logical! and he is doing all this simultaneously! sorry but that is beyond a fairy tale , lies or any other concept of realistic thought process!
can you please explain!
AND DO NOT CUT PASTE OR JUST BLABBER OFF SOME BIBLE VERSE! this question is way beyond bible !

How can Jesus be the king of the Jews, when they don't even believe in him ? I can't find any verses that shows Jesus saying he was the king of the Jews ? I see him saying that others would say that he was. Jesus was not a Jew, which is a religion that does not even believe in Jesus being the Christ. Jesus was a Hebrew, Help me to find one scripture that shows Jesus saying that he was the king of the Jews, thank you...

Mat 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. , Even the so called wise men didn't know what was up, how did they suppose that ? !

Jhn 19:21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. Liers ! Jesus never said that ever !

No evidence for Jesus just speculation.

They cover all the evidence Christians use (flavis josephus, tactis ect.) And they even prove the gospels are unreliable.

And an excellent job of thee whole "ceaser" arguement.

Don't you agree?

They're making a statement about our place in the universe and how we got here and it requires faith to not believe in a deity. They believe something they have no proof for, but they have faith that it's not true.

Yes it feels good to get things off my chest and tell someone I feel really guilty.

Maybe and I will think about it.

No, I keep my secrets all to my self and why does any one have to know?

Why can't we Christians pick and choose what we want to believe and disregard what we don't? Why should we believe everything the Bible says when you don't believe in anything? No offense but, why do some of us Christians get chastised for not believing everything the Bible says? Wouldn't we be smarter not too. Why can't we believe that which makes since and disregard anything that is contradictory without being criticized for it?

I'm just asking because I met some illegal "refugees" on the train the other day. I felt quite sorry for them, because they must have pretty difficult lives compared to most of us. One had 3 kids, the other had 4... but still, I don't know if I handled it very well, and would like to hear what ppl think to help me decide how I'd handle it another time.

I guess it probably depends on why they ended up here. I mean you'd probably react differently to someone who's life was in danger in their home country, or someone who was kidnapped, compared to someone who just wanted money...
