Has anyone ever confessed something scandalous that you thought would make the priest uncomfortable? My friends and i have always thought it might be fun to go in there and make up some amazing adventure story with sex drugs and violence to make him a little jealous ;p

I once had a confession that I felt was so potentially scandalous that I was embarrassed to tell it to anybody in my parish. So I confessed to a priest out of state.

Why would you lie about your confession? You would just have to go back in and confess the lies you told. Believe me a priest has heard everything under the sun

That is sick, Saying that you are going to make the Priest jealous, grow up, Priests have heard far worse than that and were not jealous, they prayed to God to help the person

I don't need a priest to hear my confession. Jesus is the only priest we ever need and my confession is to Him and Him alone.

I have confessed that I was a damned fool worthy of the Lake of Fire, but the Son of God who loved me took my just punishment upon Himself on the cross, so that through His death I might find life.
I confess He is My Lord and Savior, risen from the dead, and coming again to rule and reign over all the earth.
"Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.
"But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven. "
Matthew 10:32-33

That's my true confession.

Jesus will be waiting for you in the confessional. He acts through the priest. He waits to give you His gift of love and mercy. please do not profane this loving sacrament He instituted for us to renew our hearts and minds to Him
