As I have grown as a Christian I have grown to know the voice of the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and have conversed back and forth with the whole three. Who else has a relationship like me.

Or Who would like one?

as a young teenager, my parents forced their religion on me. and would punish me severly if i didnt comply, who thinks such things like this are positive's for your children?

because it certainly didn't help me out. it only made me leave the church, and start searching the real truth.

What do you do when answering questions from narrow minded people who ask stupid uninformed questions based on what they have heard and without doing any real research on the matter?

Do you:

1- Take the time to explain while listing credible sources in hopes that the person will eventually open his eyes to how stupid he was actually for posting uninformed questions?

2- Answer the question sarcastically in hopes the person gets you sarcasm and feels ashamed of himself?

3-Tell them to stick it up their a**es?

All truly great love stories seem to be fiction. I don't think that it really exists, in it's truest form for a life time.

the military?Since what a person believes in seems to dictate whether or not someone who does not believe as they do and lives a life that their belief says is a "sin" can be treated equally without discrimination for who they are. And, so, if the rule of law is that religious morality dictates the law of the land on certain matters, should not my moral objection to the sin of Christianity according to my beliefs be treated as reason enough to start banning their right to marriage and other rights?

My dad past away 2 years ago and i stayed by mom's side to help her. I also took care of my granny who is blind and paralysed.

Now I'm trying desperately to get my life back. I'm trying to re -enter the job market. I avent work in 2 years its pretty rough since I now have this huge hole in my resume.

I'm attempting to prepare for my TOEFL and GMAT and Im currently working part time.

The problem is I'm tired, wiped out. Im tired of being asked to do a million things by my mom. Plus i work and come home late towards midnight. Still when i get home no one takes care of granny I have to do it.

Im never in a calm state to study. Im always either angry, stressed, discouraged because im being either blaimed for something.
I tried telling my mom that i have things to do and that i need time for myself. She ignores me and just keeps talking about what she needs or whatever else. I have had it. I want out of this house and Im doing my best to make it happen.any words of advice?

Jehovah's Witnesses are probably best known for their person-to-person ministry. Each congregation tries to reach all the people in its neighborhood with a brief Bible message at least once a year. This is usually done by Witnesses visiting from door to door. Witnesses will also talk to people on the streets, in parks and in other public places—wherever someone can be found who has a spiritual interest and a few minutes to talk. This approach is the same as that used by Jesus Christ and his apostles.

The apostle Paul, for example, said, "I did not hold back . . . from teaching you publicly and from house to house."—Acts 20:20.

I love God and all, but I gotta say i'm also motivated by fear of Satan and hell. I don't want to join the ranks of Satan. I say we are to fear and respect and love God at the same time.

There is no reason to fight for your own beliefs.

Is there any reason to convince others to believe what you believe?

Couldnt "God " be brilliant enough and have the patience to evolve creatures and progress them to adapt in their environments? Wouldnt it make more sense that "life" was a slow process? Its a lot less ignorant than Eve taking a bite out of an apple,

Is it to much to ask that certain ignorant fake type christians quit coming over to the lgbt section and making ignorant implication's that all homosexuals are pedophiles? How about instead of throwing rocks at each other how about we do a little Jesus and say he who lives without sin can throw the first stone. That said why is it such a hard concept that we should all be working to make america the best country not just for ourselves but for all the kid's who are going to inherit it even the ones who are going to grow up lgbt like it or not.
