(I love the Killers music, they're from Vegas like me :)

I've got soul and I AM a soldier.
I will never fight for my beliefs in the sense of using violence, but I will use other means that are worthy of the Cause. A spiritual warrior is one who uses aggression (the power to act) in a creative way i.e. rock musicians. (it's no coincidence you used a quote from a song by rock musicians ironically named Killers) Powerful actions via musical instruments and lyrics with a powerful message. This is an excellent way to 'fight' for a cause. I don't want to convert anybody just so they will believe what I do.
I love mankind. We share and co-create a world. The less fear and confusion involved, the better for all of us. I don't live in a vacuum.

In general no, but if that comes as a tenet of your belief, then it's inescapable.
In computer terms it comes "bundled" with the rest of the package.

Most commonly referred to is Christianity, where there are several injunctions in the New Testament to spread the Gospel, the "Good News".
To say that bit *doesn't* apply runs contrary to accepting the whole thing.
Christianity, however is far from unique in this. It's a feature of a variety of faiths, though not most.

I've got a soul. . . and I am a " soldier ". I'm a " soldier " in the sense that I keep myself forged in claiming and holding fast the to the laws of the " land ". . . That " land " is the Light of the One.

I tend to come across some that try to have me believe that goodness does not really exist...that authentic love, goodness of people, having faith, knowing the truth of the Light, that life really IS good...some try to bring me to their ' reality ' that life is hard and to not trust people so much.

I'm 50, peacefully divorced 4 years now...have reclaimed the truth of my soul and there are a sprinkling of " nay-sayers " out there who find comfort in trying to bring others down.

So, from your phrase of " soldier " . . . I am a gentle " soldier " of inner strength who loves in a huge way. I find that I need to at times be a " soldier " of my own soul to keep it protected.

To " convince " others to believe what I believe ? No. Yet, I do " protect " the " land " of the soul. And, sometimes I've found that I need to bring the strength of an honorable " soldier " / Knight to protect the " land " of the soul.

The soul is precious and to be kept clean, protected and embraced in the Light. Just as any soldier protects their family, village, land...I protect my soul, those I love and my own self . . . To protect that " land " of soul. . . I am glorifying and honoring the love of the Light...the One.
.

one need not to fight for own beliefs but just pass with the truths ,if someone can pick it up than it is ok otherwise it will be wastage of your time.becaue you can not change them .they are already engaged in some work why do you want to disturb them.your beliefs may not be of their use.if they will need , they will request you to tell your beliefs, then only your time could be utilized.why do you want to become soldier to change them.do you want to loose your beliefs once again.or you do not have confidence in your beliefs.

LOL.... gr8 qn

Those who have not realised the truth yet... do have a soul and are soldiers too.

this fight of Don Quixote ends when we realise the Truth.. because when we realise the truth of our faith... we realise the truths of all other faiths too...and see all are marching in their own way towards the Truth

The war then changes into a march of brotherhood and understanding

There will come a time when you will have to
I will not sit here and hold a person down and spoon feed them the Lord's word, If you ask then I will do my best to answer you and hope that you look it up (this is for everyone)

Perhaps not for you, but not everyone thinks that way. I get pissed when someone tells me what to think. I don't like the arrogance of people who presume to tell me that I'm wrong in my belief, or that I'm Hell bound. I will fight for my right to believe as I choose if someone tries to deny me that right.
