It depends on the question. If the question is extremely narrow minded and/or stupid, I always give 'em a #3.
If it's an extreme point I do not agree with, but is still pretty narrow minded, I give a #1 followed by a #2 to send it off and get my bad votes.
If it's an honest question but a little narrow minded, more of a "either/or" question, I give 'em a #1 and try to give them a different perspective on the subject. Not so much to change their mind, but to shed some light on my point of view.
So basically - Out right Stupid People = #3
Ignorant People = #1-#2
Honestly Naive = #1

Try to explain in a polite manner, do it thoroughly and use reliable sources. If they don’t listen and continue to be Ignoramuses, then hit them with everything you have, right where it hurts most; ridicule their beliefs, make a laughing stock out of them so everyone can laugh (except the object of ridicule since they will be too stupid to get it anyway). You won’t change the person by any means, but others may learn something from the exercise.

I answer the same way I ask a question.Sometimes with sarcasm and sometimes seriously. But always with knowledge about what I am answering or asking.I never answer or ask a question about a subject that I don't already know something about. No matter how sarcastic I might be in doing so.

I used to list credible sources, but realised they would NEVER look them up, or study for themselves. They have their minds already made up, why try and confuse them with facts?
Now I just answer sarcastically, realising that sarcasm goes over their heads too.
Overall, "fishing" for the religious mind is lots of fun, better than watching the crap on TV these days. We always manage to "reel them in", don't we?

You have a choice to answer right.
I suppose you need to know his objective to the way he ask.
A narrow minded people live in a narrow minded street.
Unless you know the person well than your answers will be base differently.

Depends on my mood.
Most of my experience of answering questions from narrow minded people comes from Y!A. So I sign in doing mostly 1's. Then, I move on to 2's. Finally, I'm so frustrated I do some 3's and get tons of thumbs down.

I either try the first approach as if they had asked a sensible question or I just move on.
If I have doubts whether they are serious I check previous Q & As. No point wasting good typing time on some people.

I do a bit of each though not so much of number 3...at least I don't type it out. Sometimes I try to put reliable links etc...even though I know they probably made up their mind...but u never know...it might be the one time they or somebody else looks.
It sucks though when u give a great answer and u know they will pick the worst answer on here as thier pick. :(

It depends. If they're narrow minded out of naivete I will take the time to explain. If I feel they're just mean spirited and here to poke fun and pick a fight, I won't answer at all.

I tell them what I think/believe/do with the same sincerity they tell me. Whatever they do after that is their responsibility, not mine. If I were rude or sarcastic, I'd hardly be doing any better than they were. I have to remember that they probably think I'm as stupid as I think they are.
