Mark 10:19-24
"Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
"And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
"Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
"And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
"And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
"... Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

I think that it's an institution full of traitors and a problem to all nations, for example, the catholics in Mexico invited and helped the french army to attack us, in Latin America, they never permitted a good political order. etc, etc, etc

If there is anything in the new testament about it, what scripture is it so i can look it up?
Thanks.

If Christ is the way, and the only way, to gain an eternity in Heaven, then what happened to all those whom lived and died before the Christ was born? Were they all doomed, inherently, to an eternity in Hell?

In the old testament, where it says that Abraham and all his seed after him should get circumcised, why did they need to get circumcised? What's the point? Also is that rule still in effect today or was that just in that time period?

Questions like this make me a sad panda.

Morals are largely formulated by legal and cultural factors so they're pretty much common to everyone in a particular society regardless of religious orientation. The assumption that atheists must be immoral because they do not believe in a higher being is one of the most erroneous of all time - one does not need to believe in God to have a healthy respect for the law and the feelings of others.

In fact one could argue that atheists have stronger morals because they hold to them without the threat of eternal damnation if they don't. ;)

Agree/disagree?

Hi friends, just want to check if you believe in crop circles. Do you think they are real or just man made hoaxes?

If they are real, what do they mean? Is there life in the outer space? Are the aliens sending us messages through the crop circles?

I personally believe in aliens, and I think it will be the strongest deception ever created by Satan... even the faithful ones will be deceived. If man can clone animals, there's a possibility that Satan can use our DNA and clone aliens in outer space.

What do you think?

Many atheists on here act like evolution can disprove God. Well, God and evolution are two totally different ideas. It's kind of like using a banana to disprove an orange. I don't know if I believe in evolution or not, I've been searching, but this doubt has nothing to do with my religion. It's just a lack of evidence on my part.

So, why do some of you guys try to use it against us? Maybe a few of us see this differently, but not most.

Just to send the message across........ peAce.

If atheists dont believe in sin, then is lying wrong? Can atheists be trusted? Does their moral code forbid lying? And who/what can atheists swear by that i would be convinced enough of their personal conviction on the matter that i could trust them?

By this I mean the tolerance of Christians for different ideas is pretty much null. Even history has borne this out, with the murder and torture of non Christians to get them to convert. Why would children of God, a God who is all knowing and all forgiving be so violent when you question their beliefs? Do you think this is truly what your God wants from you?

Occam's razor - . The principle states that the explanation of any phenomenon should make as few assumptions as possible, eliminating, or "shaving off," those that make no difference in the observable predictions of the explanatory hypothesis or theory.

or

"the simplest explanation is usually the right one"

So using this principle, did we come into existence from a magical being who was always there and used all his magical powers to create and destroy us and then do it again, and he controls everything.

or

Do we go through life and make our OWN decisions and did we come into being after billions of years of adaptation and evolution.

If you are a Christian woman, there should be some degree of modesty, the same as if you are a Christian man. You would not want to cause another to stumble. What if you are a Christian woman, you're proud of your body, and wear a skimpy bikini to the beach. And a young Christian (young as in he just came to Christ) sees you and goes home and masturbates, thinking about you in that skimpy bikini. Have you caused him to sin?
