I not only believe that it is possible but I "live" it.
I'm not talking about the Abrahamic God though. The Gods and Goddesses I believe in are very different. They do not want to be worshiped, obeyed, etc. They do not punish "wrong" behavior.
They walk among us, though they are not usually visible (they vibrate on a higher energy level).
To me, they are to be honored as one would honor someone who is older, acts as a mentor and has more life experience.
They act as guides, they aid me in my Spiritual growth.
I don't know if it is possible to view the Abrahamic God in this way, I've never tried, too much bad press (the Bible).
I hope that this answers your question.

i have not in any respect heard of this faith you talk of. i trust that the route to all morality, information, and enlightenment is the direction of truth. how are you going to hit upon out what's tue in case you do not have understanding? Do you pluck understanding out of thin air? I useful desire no longer, because it would want to be really chaotic and may lead on you off target. Google is a device for having access to information, no longer an infallible scripture. It behaves quite like the Bible, in that it truly is finished of fallibility and contradictions. maximum of what's stumbled on on line is organic baloney, it takes exertions, popularity of purpose resources, and utilization of common sense and reason to hit upon what's useful for information. save in options the words of Winston Churchill: "A lie receives midway global huge formerly the truth has a probability to get its pants on." Google did not create the Universe, so i do not trust it qualifies for the identify of 'God'. God •the supernatural being conceived because the perfect and omnipotent and omniscient originator and ruler of the universe

Hmm well I'm an atheist but if this god person existed and he/she/it was as some believers describe I wouldn't want to worship he/she/it, they sound like an utter monster.

It is possible, I did it for years. Then I accepted Christ, and realized all that time I was actually running towards God.
