After Jesus was raised from the dead, we've not had a whole lot of signs that God is paying attention to us anymore. He used to send miracles and talk to people and rain wrath and judgement when we were bad. Then we killed his son. I mean sure the bible says one thing, but it's written by men. What if God intended Jesus to remain here and rule over us and we just killed him? Wouldn't he then sort of get it through his head that we're hopeless and wash his hands of us?

There are no more miracles. Not true miracles that in no way could be seen as coincindince as well. God doesn't talk to anyone anymore. (Besides crazy homeless people or evangelists looking for money if you take my meaning) there's not even anymore judgement. If he doesn't burn Los Angeles and New York to the ground, he should dig up Sodom and Gomorrah to apologize. So other than individuals wanting to believe...how do we know God hasn't just given up on us? After we killed his son, not alot has shown that he cares..

My wife received an e mail for a non believing friend of her the other day, He was on the liver transplant list, and was told that he would not be alive long enough to receive it. He should have been dead by now, but he wrote my wife thanking her for her prayers, He went to the Doctor the other day and received a clean bill of health, he was totally healed, and had not received the transplant. God is still doing miracles. he does them every day,

When God does give up on Humanity, then Jesus will return.

Hello there,
In the bible, we see that after God destroyed all of mankind he repented (how awesome) and said that he will never do such a thing again, and the rainbow is a reminder that this will never take place in such a manner, only until the book of revelations is fulfilled. This is not a college report, but basically if the Great God wanted to destroy us, why should it be of any concern? We were created, and he can choose as he wish. But when you read and see Gods character, youll see that his righteousness is deep and judgements are precise.

If it were God's intentions for Jesus to stay here and rule us, then God could have easily prevented mankind from crucifying him. But the scripture says Jesus would die for our sins, and... that's exactly what he did.

And God still performs miracles, but just like in Jesus' time, even if they were big, public events, there would still be people out there who wouldn't believe and try to prove Him wrong. I have had many miracles and prayers answered, and it wasn't coincidence. God has worked wonders in my life. If you don't believe me, that's fine, but I know He's real, and I have faith.

Why don't you ask God to work a miracle in your life and see what happens? You just have to have a little bit of faith. Bless you. Have a lovely day. :-)

God never leaves us; you chose to leave Him. As for no miracles, there are miracles everyday. It's a miracle that there are Christians who stand up for we believe in and post on here even though we know we are gonna get thumbs down. How about this miracle....my family member went to the doctor and the results showed she was eat up with cancer. She went back two weeks later and there was no trace of cancer. That my friend is God's power. I pray that you realize the power of God and gain faith in Him.

Ah' that's what happen, after the chosen ones killed his only son.

God said; forget earth there are plenty of other planets I can go to, without all this backstabbing and fighting.

Yep there is nothing like the human race to mix it with a fight or two and back door someone's wife.

Well, isn't it supposed to be that he'll come back when the world has gotten TERRIBLE to the point where we can't fix it and whatnot?

Which makes me wonder, why do Christians work so hard to make things 'right' if they believe god/jesus will be coming back only when things are terrible?
XD

Because to do so would be like admitting the He had made a mistake in creating us.
AND GOD DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES.
We brought out current condition on ourselves because of disobedience.
God has sorted it out by supplying to us his own son, to fix the problem.
We should be grateful.

1) He promised not to.
2) We're still around when He could have just done away with us.
