God can create a stone as big and heavy as you can imagine. Then He create dynamite. That shows how wise He is. Even human being can lift that heavy stone, let alone God.

First, God is not a person as you think and imagine with your brain. God is omnipresent , omni potent. Think of anything you can, god is beyond that. God(Brhaman) cannot travel because its everywhere, The whole universe is a manifestation of Brhaman.

Brahman or God cannot be seen but what make you see is Brahman.

Its just the ignorance that make u ask such questions.

If He couldn't lift it, He would not be omnipotent, and therefore would not be God. So this silly question is actually asking if God can create a situation in which He is not God. No, He can't, for God is eternal and omnipresent, meaning that He is present and is God in all times and places.

This is often used as an argument against omnipotence in general. Omnipotence would require a being to be able to do things at direct odds with each other, so, on paper, omnipotence is impossible.

Although, considering the frequency that this question gets asked in here, I think we need to make a drinking game for this question as well. Who's with me?

God's awesome power is so mind blowing that He wouldn't have to lift it, He can make it float to where ever He wants it. But, nothing is impossible with God. That's from His own Word, the Bible in Luke 1:37.

God is not restricted by the laws of earth, such as gravity. God is not of this world.
So to ask a question as limited as this one would be to limit God's power and absolute authority. Gods power has no limits...

No, He cannot do that.

Were you under the mistaken impression that God can do ANYTHING? I've got news for you: based on the scientific law of cause and effect, the effect is always LESS than the cause. God cannot cause any effect greater than He, the cause.

Yes he can make a rock too heavy for him to lift, and then if he needed he could make it lighter, or make himself stronger, which ever he wanted.

yes, your heart, when he tries to lift it out of hell. except he created the heart you just turned it into a stone by proxy. but seriously we could imagine that he could create a stone so large that there would only one problem--- he need to make it a little bigger and little heavier so it would become impossible for him to lift it, but he had to leave room for himself, so that he could actually lift it, it's only fair don't you think?
