That is simlpy not the case. The Bible, though not a science text, is always shown to be true in scientific light. The fact is, many of our greatest discoveries have been made by Bible believing scientist who were following what the Bible says.
The main point of contention I've seen here is between the Bible and the Theory of Evolution, evolution including cosmic, chemical, biological and macro-evolution. Let's get a deffinition of science: knowledge gained through observation and experimentation. Since no one has ever observed evolution, and no one can do any experiments confirming evolution, by deffinition, evolution isn't a science.
Evolution, not being a science, is actually a religion onto its own, and needs to be accepted by faith. There's nothing wrong with believing in evolution, but realize it's your religion.
I already have a faith, so I don't need to believe in yours. Who here agrees with me, that GOD created the earth, and Created us in HIS image?

Will I go straight to Heaven,
Go six feet under and then after years of nothing, wake up again and then go to Heaven,
or become a spirit trapped on earth, and then after years, go to Heaven?

I believe in spirits, and I believe they are trapped on Earth. Could it be that they are just trapped here until 7 years after Judgement Day, and he'll then judge everyone who ever lived?

John 5:28-29..........Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

some(note i said some) people just spew hatred and intollerance, with threats they decided on behalf of their 'god',like fire, death and damnation, saying its good, like they get some sinnister fix out of violence!
whilst claiming to be bastians of benevolence.

how is this acceptable, to their fellow believers, or any decent human being.
what is wrong with these people who have a fixation on these self deluded need to wish suffering on people, the world needs an AVO on these dangerous freaks.

I just read this in an answer:

"because you do not have faith to God and you are Godless man who is doing bad things on earth."

Anyone else find that disturbing?
As an atheist I'm offended. Apparently just because someone is does not believe in God they are automatically a bad person? That's so closed minded.

And let me gues.. everyone does DOES believe in God is a great person? Let me finish with this quote:
"Out of convicted rapists, 57% admitted to reading pornography. 95% admitted to reading the Bible."

Isn't it strange? No one desire to die, even if they know that in paradise they won't have problems anymore.

There are many branches of each of the ten religions with the largest population of followers. Each one emphatically affirms it's unity with the creator and condemns all others on the authority of their particular 'holy book' . How does a seeker know when they've found "The One"? Is there "One"?

Some say, evolutionists and atheists believe life was not formed by a higher power, and thus life wasnt created and given a purpose by a God.
That is wrong, atheists and evolutionists believe that life was created with a purpose the minute they were born!
3 main purposes atheists believe in

1. To mock at christians. Example:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlQ6dNDmdd0eEmDvgFSIFXrd7BR.?qid=20070504222616AARXOwG
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AthKmFjC9axpmgtLv_XQqUbty6IX?qid=20070504023531AAhS0ma&show=7#profile-info-AA12393700

2. to claim they don't believe in christianity, then ask why things were done the way they were done in the Bible, simply meaning they are confused and need to learn, but are too proud to ask.

Example:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ak0457ieIszzlhGrthHKZ2Dty6IX?qid=20070504024448AABhFOx&show=7#profile-info-euG89p64aa

3. mock at every christian questions, even if it has nothing to do with atheism.

What does it mean when you have an experience, spiritually, so powerful it makes you shiver like you are cold but you are not? I get that often, not because of hormones and whatnot, but becuase of learning things. Reading the Quran, for example, when I learn something new and am in a "battle" to show the truth of it, I get these "shakes". What could it mean? I've also had odd islamic dreams and keep having them (those who know me and know the two questions I asked about them long ago know what I mean). I keep having dreams about that certain person that everyone knows I dreamed about. What does this mean?

of paper and a book made from it. It really is laughable."He is the creator, he is god , he made the universe, he is all around-he is all seeing and all knowing...and it's all written in this book as there's no way he could reveal it any other way! ha ha! Does anyone else agree that it is laughable?
