Just doubling that to account for an even male to female ratio gives a population of 1,207,100, plus those under military age and those too old.

How does the entire population of a major city stay mobile in a tiny, tiny desert for forty years without leaving a single trace?

It takes less than two weeks to cross that entire desert on foot, and yet these million plus people walked in circles for forty years and couldn't find their way out, hardly ever encountered anyone else even though Egypt was only a few miles behind them and never left a single piece of evidence that they had been there, not even a pottery shard or a latrine?

Do you have any idea how much garbage and waste is produced over the course of forty years by over one million people?

Not THAT takes FAITH to believe in.

Not to mention a complete lack of education and a surprising degree of gullibility.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding.

It tells us that just because we cannot understand all of God's ways and words, that sometimes we need to take what we know and just trust Him. Hey say a prayer for me. Tomorrow is my confirmation!

You call me "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey" and you think it's OK.
But if I called you Kike, Towelhead, WOP, Sand-******, Camel Jockey, ****, ****** or Chink you would call me a racist.
You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United ***** College Fund.
You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi
You have the NAACP.
You have BET.
You have Cinco De Mayo
The Miss Black America Pageant
If we had WET(white entertainment television) ...we'd be racist.
If we had a White Pride Day... you would call us racist.
If we had white history month... we'd be racist.
If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives... we'd be racist.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships...you know we'd be racist.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights...you would call us racist.
Did you know that some high school students decided to make a club for only the white students because the other ethnicities had them?... they all got sent to court for being racist but the african-american, latino, and asia clubs were not even questioned.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But if we announced our white pride, you would call us racists.
Why is it that only whites can be racists?

Now watch, I'll be a racist for posting this.

I'm shocked when I read "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." Mat 16:28

What does it mean?

John 21:22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

Is Apostle John still alive til now?

I'm looking for music that sounds like christian music but doesn't have the same words. I really like the tunes and how it gets you going and would like to know if anyone has heard of anything like this but has intelligent words like about life and how it's in your own hands and stuff. Now for the christians who want to answer and say well it gets you going because of the holy spirit just spare me your crap and just let others answer this question

Death is not a big deal to God. It's a doorway to a better place, or a deserved punishment. I am sad for myself when someone dies because I will miss them in my life, but I am happy for them because as a Christian I know they are in a better place than anyone can even fathom. And if they are not, that is between them and God. All we can do as Christians is try to get people to see the truth but we can't MAKE them.

OH, and for the record God does not send little childeren to Hell. You have to be old enough to make choices and truly understand their consaquinces. (I know i can't spell)
And why do people site the punishments of God and call him evil. If you break the law, be it socitey's or God's you get punished. That is the way it works. Follow the rules and you have nothing to worry about. Why is that so hard to understand? He punishes us because he loves us. Just like our parents do. Are all the worlds parents evil too??

Some of you may say, it's was the holy spirit... what's the difference between the 'holy spirit' and crazy people who hear voices in their head?

And if it were written by a 'holy spirit' why does the bible only address events and countries of that time. Wouldn't God know there would be an America, or airplanes, or nuclear weapons in 1500 years?

They seem to think so. One answer to a recent question about people making assumptions about the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses said:

"It seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated by... Satan the Devil"

Really? Do you hate them? Or are your comments motivated by Christian love? I would like to reassure all Jehovah's Witnesses that I, for one, do not hate them and that I care deeply about them. What do you say?

I do. Especially when some ask questions about whether those of us who either believe in a different form of god or no god at all will go to hell and then follow it up with biblical quotes rather than answering their own question. I'd rather get a straight forward 'You're going to hell' or 'You won't get into heaven' than the quotes. Stop hiding your judgment! All thoughts welcome. Namaste.

Everyone's dream might be said to be true, but it would be meaningless to ascertain that only one person's dream was the true world and all others were fallacies.

Thoughts?

Prayer is not for man to change the counsel of God but is for communion with God and we are the one being taught some lesson and being changed.

Do you agree with this statement and if so, why pray for menial things like passing a history test?
