Each of them experience a different world when waking, so why not, when sleeping?
All truths are only true to the beholder.
Truth, like beauty, is relative.

I don't get what you mean by "different world". It's obvious that not everybody will have the same dream. The question of dreams being true or not is meaningless. Dreams are imaginary, and cannot be taken as reality.

An interesting perspective. Wrapping back to DeCarte's maxim "Cogito, ergo sum," (I think therefore I am) we can see that it is easy to prove one's own existence.
For anything outside of the self, we must rely on our senses. The problem is that the senses can be faulty. So ultimately, empirically, the only thing I can prove is that *I* exist. Everything else could very well be imaginary, filtered through broken senses. I can't *prove* that I'm not just sitting in a padded room typing to myself. We have to take it on faith that what our senses tell us is true.
I would also be careful about the way you throw around the word 'True.' I dream about fighting ninjas on a semi-regular basis, but that doesn't make it true.

As above, so below.
Each individual dreams a unique dream,(and many times overlapping with others. Shared dreams?) but there is a shared dream universe in which all
dreams take place. You can see parallels in the everyday universe, which in many ways is more dreamlike.
(Individually experienced 'worlds' overlapping others worlds within a shared physical universe.)

Not true, dreams can be shared. Regardless, most dreams are just unconscious delusions stirred up by emotions and memories or are utter randomness. Only a few dreams are prophetic or realistic.

I understand that this is a metaphor. But my first thought was that you have never experience astral travel.
Reality is subect to the eyes it is perceived through. Therefore it is impossible to change the reality of another persons perseption unless they allow you to.

Metaphorically... I would *not* choose the term "world", at all. Nor would I use "true". "DIFFERENT" is the operative word.
