To understand how Jesus is the son of GOD, we must go back to Adam, and Eve in the beginning. When GOD created man, and woman, We must also look at the place they were living in, they lived in the garden, therefore there was no sickness, or suffering, Adam and Eve were allowed to eat from every tree from the garden, except the tree of good and evil, but everyone knows this story Adam & Eve disobeyed GOD, so he clothe them, and put them out.
Once Adam & Eve were taken from the garden, every thing started the process of dyeing, man had to work and women had pain with labor etc...
Now let's look back Adam, -- Adam was given a direct command from GOD, do not eat of the tree of good and evil, yet he did with EVE, therefore to some he broke a cardinal sin, and when asked by GOD because he was hideing! because of his shame, and guilt, before this incidence of them eating from the tree of good & evil, there was no shame in fact they were naked! and there eyes, and mind were pure; so to speak like GOD, therefore after eating this substance they were now blinded as well. When GOD ask where are thow, and Adam and Eve his children he created, and why are you hideing? Adam said, because that wife you gave me she gave me from the tree, and we ate of the tree of good and evil.
Here is a story of a man, and woman who had it all, and the man especially did not take responsibility, for the actions of his self or his wife, and I have not read yet, were Adam & Eve apoligized. Adam and Eve bought death and they were some denial also, remember GOD had stated, if you eat from the tree of good and evil you will surely die.
This has never been the intentions of GOD we were to live our lives with out pain, guilt, shame, and sufferings, however Adam change this by following his flesh, therefore GOD design a plan, for his family to be with him again.
For our Savior Jesus Christ to come, and undo the damages Adam & Eve caused upon this earth, this why Jesus had to suffer the sins of all, So man may live again and not die, they're some spacific details about Adam that Jesus had, while on this earth, GOD breath went directly into Adam, so this ment >Adam was a direct decent from GOD,< of his own, blood line.> When Mary became pregant it was directly from GOD,> a direct blood line the same as Adams!>
only this time the serpent the devil would loose, because of Jesus Christ , which was totaly obediant, despite of his feelings and emotions, he followed GOD spirit and commands from the beginning untill it was finished, and when they flogged him with the whipp he bled, when put the crown of thorns upon his head he bled, when they nailed him to cross he bled, therefore GODS blood, went through out the whole earth, and cleaned the earth, therefore, this shows GOD so love the earth, He gave his only begotton, son Jesus became his son by obediance,
ROMANS 5:19 For by one man's disobedients many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made rightoeous. which is Jesus Christ our Savior.

Because God can manifest in human form, as already shown in Genesis 18 and Joshua 5:13-15.
God is all-powerful and can incarnate in human form. The Son has existed through all eternity according to the gospels and epistles.
He thus shows us God's nature, God's compassion, and provides salvation.
God is absolutely pure so is absolutely just. So the imperfections and wrongdoings of every one of us have to be paid for. No human could pay for this. But God incarnated as man can do it, as a passover sacrifice. Those who trust in Him find their sins forgiven, and come into relationship with God; so its clear He is who He claimed He is to us believers.
When He rose from the dead He has also proved the truth of His claims by sending the Spirit of God - the Holy Spirit - upon the Church. You can read about this in Acts 2.
Moreover many miracles have been done in the name of Jesus through history, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The eternal Father and the eternal Son had an eternal relationship before Jesus took upon Himself humanity. Please read John 5:19-27, particularly 5:23 where Jesus teaches that the Father sent the Son (also read John 15:10). Jesus did not become the Son of God when He was born in Bethlehem many years ago. He has always been the Son of God from eternity past, still is, and always will be.
Isaiah 9:6 tells us that the Son was given and the child was born. Jesus was always a part of the Tri-unity relationship along with the Holy Spirit. The Tri-unity always existed, the Father God, the Son God, and the Spirit God. Not three Gods, but one God existing as three persons. Jesus taught that He and His Father were one (John 10:30). Jesus meant that He and His Father, and of course the Holy Spirit, were of the same substance, the same essence, God or deity. Three co-equal persons existing as God. These three had and continue to have an eternal relationship.

Christians believe Jesus told his disciples that his father was in heaven. Since nobody can prove or disprove the claim it becomes a matter of faith.
His mother, Mary, was described in the Bible as a virgin at the time of Jesus' birth having been impregnated by God's Holy Spirit, again a matter of faith.
Since we have no concrete scientific explanation for the spark of life that occurs sometime in the birth process, we could all be defined as miraculous creations and as such God's children.
No real difference there between you and Jesus.

We are all spirit children of god. Christ was the first born in the spirit and only begotten in the flesh. God had a plan to send his children to earth to be tested and both Christ and Satan offered to carry the plan out. Satan said " I will insist that they do right so that all will return and none will be lost, so give me the glory. Christ said "I will teach them righteous principles and will pay for those sins repented of but if they continue in sin they will have to suffer even as I will suffer (sweat blood), but all will be saved and I will give God the glory. Christ was chosen and Satan rebelled along with a third of the hosts of heaven (God's children) so they were cast down to earth to torment and test man.

This is the greatest miracle in all of GOD'S creation. THAT GOD WOULD BECOME A MAN AND DWELL AMONG US, And this was a first for GOD. JESUS was not a man before this but when HE became a man HE did so for all eternity. HE did this for us, and I am grateful for this miracle. HE JESUS is now GOD in the flesh. read John chapter 1.

To claim to be son of God is really preposterous in any era. Did he make that claim himself or was it just his fans who said that? While he lived he was opposed by the majority at that time and now his followers who are in majority oppose all others. Such is human nature........

He was miraculously conceived and born through a virgin. He grew up to heal the sick and bless the poor. The curtain in the temple was torn asunder when Jesus gave up his last breath on the cross. When He arose from the grave He defeated death and saved us all from eternal damnation.
Try and put that on your resume!
LIZA - You obviously don't know a thing about the Bible. The prophets that came before Jesus never proclaimed to be the Son of God. In fact, they often foretold of one to come. Jesus proclaimed to be the Son of God. God the Father made this clear when He told the world that "this is my Son with whom I am well pleased" when Jesus was baptized. Need more?

Jesus was fully God and fully man. He is called the Son of God because his mother Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and she became pregnant with Jesus.

According to the Christian Bible, the "how" was by artificial insemination via a holy Ghost. I guess the Christian God just didn't want to soil himself by going to bed with a human, so he just sent some sperm with his surrogate..
