For example, being that Matthew was likely composed nearly two decades after Paul's letters, his book makes much more sense in opposition against Paul's teachings - specifically things like "I have not come to abolish the law but to complete it", and referring to Peter as the rock on which the church will be built, etc, etc.

I am going to Auction Stella's signed and framed "Articles of War," she has become a community icon, in the southeast Kansas area, she continued a Christmas food basket program, long after the "Salvation Army' left Parsons, KS. She died in 1986, but her legacy continues here in Parsons and the surrounding area. The frame is in excellent shape, the document is aged, but in terrific condition, considering they were issued and signed by The Officer and Stella, on 4/11/1952

Genesis 017:009-10 ---Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.
This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.

Galatians 05:002 ---- Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.
--------------------

Paul cut off Christians from the promises of Abraham and in doing so he saved his beloved religion of Judaism.

He cut off Christians from the LAWS and introduced Mithraism and other Pagan ideas.

Paul promoted the message of the "Gentile Jesus" while squashing the message of the "Jewish Messiah-Jesus".

Paul shifted the focus of the message of the "Gentile Jesus" he created onto the NON JEWS to protect his beloved Judaism.

If he had not done this then christians would have spent the past 2,000 years focusing ONLY on the JEWS.

Paul is the one who said Jesus came for non-Jews. What an incredibly wise man (like a serpent) and Christians think he is as innocent as a dove.

-----------------
Matt 10:5-6)--- Jesus sent out these 12 after giving them instructions: "Don't take the road leading to other nations, and don't enter any Samaritan town. Instead, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

(Matthew 15:24) He (Jesus) replied, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

(Matt 18:11) "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost."

ok, here is something i don't understand. if we look at the theory that thinking and being positive attracts good things, isn't this a little selfish - you are just concerned about yourself and when you see something that's anything but "nice" you ignore it because you can't deal with it (it's too painful to think about the reality of it) and because you just want to attract the good into your life. so how is this being compassionate to people and yet it works, i've seen it. it works for your own happiness but that's about it. and the next question i have is, what sense of justice does the universe entail then? thanx

So I was reading the Bible, and there seems to be an awful lot of war in the O.T. Most of which seemed to be an order from God, God even says something to the extent of "kill them all or they will become thorns in your side." Now two questions arise from this:

1) Why would God want His creations killing each other when He says murder is wrong (and don't get it twisted if I came into your town and killed you and your family it WOULD be murder)

and

2) Why didn't God just wipe out say Jericho or any other city? He did it before with Sodom and Gorm...Gorh... the other city, so why make the Isrealites do it. Was He making them kill people to prove their faith?

Ridiculous? or just another characteristic of an all loving God?

My neighbor has invited me to her sons confirmation party. I'm not Catholic and have no idea what to do about a gift. It is appropriate to give a gift for this occasion, correct? I'd like to give him $20 in a congratulations card. Would that be good or does it need to be an actual item I give him?
Thanks!

The Bible say in Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Romans 6:23 Says "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Revelation 20:14 tells us this death is Hell (Lake of Fire)
Luke 16:19-31 Tells us about a man that went to Hell
The Bible says in Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 10:13 Says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Romans 10:9 Says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

God said it is a gift.

God's way is free, so why do you choose to go to Hell?

if we are just a collection of molecules, with no spirit, where does our sense of conciousness come from. even if you believe in the theory of evolution, you have to believe that even the simplest form of life has a sense of existence, otherwise, what's the point for it's survival? does a water molecule feel a need to create other water molecules? just a random thought that popped into my head.

I mean it obviously attacks on the central tenets of Christianity and the superficial qualities of civility. If you take a simpler route, God made Adam from dust within a blink of an eye. Adam lived to be 9,000 years and gave birth to Eve, defying the physical laws of the world and the authors of Genesis could not get enough laughters from the peanut gallery as their bestseller was gaining credibilty.

In retrospect, if there was no religion, no belief in a towering Supreme Being up in the skies with a white beard dictating morality by faxing it on Earth, there would no such violence or personal turmoil instigated by religion. Religion has from time to time, only served the interests of men who project their microcosm of egotism in a masculine deity

Which leads to the question, with modern media today would Christianity be able to get away as the one true religion like Ron Hubbard's Scientology?

Present Day Christianity has FAR MORE to do with the teachings of Saint Paul than Jesus Christ.

Paul wrote complete contradictions in the New Testament. One such Contradiction : • GEN017:009-10 -- And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my Covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every male child among you shall be circumcised.

As Paul wrote in his historical account of Jesus (New Testament)

GAL005:002 --Behold, I Paul say unto you , that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

Paul in writing, for all to see, successfully cut off Christianity from the biblical promises given to Abraham and the Lords words are set in stone with thousands of years of proof and acceptance.

Perhaps Paul is one of the great saviours of Judaism. Paul saved the Status of the Jews, who do not regard Jesus as the Messiah, by guaranteeing that this "New" religion be removed from the Promises of the Lord of Abraham.

The concept of Trinity exists in every Pagan religion and is the exact opposite of every message of Monotheism. Paul introduced the very foundation of Paganism into Christianity and thereby guaranteed the failure of these "renegades" whom he hated before "converting". Was the Paulian hijacking of Christianity the greatest act of sabotage in the history of mankind ? Who are you going to trust ? Thousands of years of revelation through hundreds of Prophets or a man named Paul who never even met Jesus ?
