The Bible say in Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Romans 6:23 Says "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Revelation 20:14 tells us this death is Hell (Lake of Fire)
Luke 16:19-31 Tells us about a man that went to Hell
The Bible says in Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 10:13 Says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Romans 10:9 Says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

God said it is a gift.

God's way is free, so why do you choose to go to Hell?

The imaginary places and things that YOU believe in aren't amongst the "choices" I have to make. Those are YOUR beliefs. I have no reason at all to believe that anything you said is anything but a complete myth. No reason at all. Because your religion is based on the Bible, you can't say that your religion is right "because the Bible says so" or "Because it says (this) in the Bible" Of course the book your religion is based on is going to tell you that your religion is right. What else would it say? That you're wrong and someone else is right?
I do not believe there is a God, and I do not believe in Heaven or Hell. Until I am shown some sort of proof of "God", "Heaven", and "Hell" that's better than a book written over 2000 years ago by superstitious middle-eastern sheep herders, then my beliefs won't change.

This question was basically asked yesterday. My answer today is the same.

My perspective as an atheist:
It is only a choice if you believe in the alternative.

To people who think it's a fairy tale, it's not a choice. It is nothing.

When atheists talk about hell, they are not looking for validation or comfort. They are not talking about hell as though it really exists, and that heaven is a place they are being cheated out of. They are simply pointing to the contradiction in the commonly held notion that your god is benevolent.

I do no such thing. Heaven and hell are not places you go when you die they are states of mind ways of living. I am in heaven right now.

Why do you allow a book that wasn't well written, full of lies, rule your life and your mind?
You could be learning and growing spiritually instead of hating people for seeking to understand something that you obviously know nothing about.

Read a book. Stop being ignorant. Then decide for yourself what you believe. I guarantee that if you knew anything about other religions you would never go back to christianity.

Your God doesn't exist and neither does your Hell, so it's a pointless question.

You must have a weird understanding of hell. Furthermore, does fear drive your life?
