It is true that the Almighty did not say, "Listen, thousands of years from now when a new language called English comes along, they can pronounce my name as 'Jehovah' and that's fine."

Instead, like with any and every personal name, different languages TRANSLATE personal names to fit their lingual tendencies. George becomes "Hor-hey" in Spanish or "Gay-org" in German and no one gets upset.

It's not exactly wrong to call the Almighty by the impersonal "God", just as it's not wrong to call one's offspring "Child". If we want a familiar and close relationship, however, it makes sense to use the personal name of someone we love. The Scriptures encourage us to use God's personal name.

The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) does seem to accurately pronounce the divine name. Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.

The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”, especially if you speak Hebrew. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".

(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth

(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

My GOD is the same for all of creation, the seen and unseen, whether or not they are believers.

My GOD can be called many names, for example: The All-Compassionate, The All-Merciful, The Absolute Ruler, The Pure One, The Source of Peace, The Inspirer of Faith, The Guardian, The Victorious, The Compeller, The Greatest, The Creator, The Maker of Order, The Shaper of Beauty, The Forgiving, The Subduer, The Giver of All, The Sustainer, The Opener, The Knower of All, The Constrictor, The Reliever, The Abaser, The Exalter, The Bestower of Honors, The Humiliator, The Hearer of All, The Seer of All, The Judge, The Just, The Subtle One, The All-Aware, The Forebearing, The Magnificent, The Forgiver and Hider of Faults, The Rewarder of Thankfulness, The Highest, The Greatest, The Preserver, The Nourisher, The Accounter, The Mighty, The Generous, The Watchful One, The Responder to Prayer, The All-Comprehending, The Perfectly Wise, The Loving One, The Majestic One, The Resurrector, The Witness, The Truth, The Trustee, The Possessor of All Strength, The Forceful One, The Governor, The Praised One, The Appraiser, The Originator, The Restorer, The Giver of Life, The Taker of Life, The Ever Living One, The Self-Existing One, The Finder, The Glorious, The Only One, The One, The Satisfier of All Needs, The All Powerful, The Creator of All Power, The Expediter, The Delayer, The First, The Last, The Manifest One, The Hidden One, The Protecting Friend, The Supreme One, The Doer of Good, The Guide to Repentance, The Avenger, The Forgiver, The Clement, The Owner of All, The Lord of Majesty and Bounty, The Equitable One, The Gatherer, The Rich One, The Enricher, The Preventer of Harm, The Creator of The Harmful, The Creator of Good, The Light, The Guide, The Originator, The Everlasting One, The Inheritor of All, The Righteous Teacher, The Patient One.

But the Most Beautiful, the Greatest Name is ALLAH which means the ONE, the ONLY TRUE GOD. You cannot make this name plural. It always mean
the same. You cannot give the name gender.

In the name of GOD,
the infinitely Compassionate and Merciful.
Praise be to GOD, Lord of all the worlds.
The Compassionate, the Merciful.
Ruler on the Day of Reckoning.
You alone do we worship,
and You alone do we ask for help.
Guide us on the straight path,
the path of those who have received your grace;
not the path of those who have brought down wrath,
nor of those who wander astray.
Amen.

Hi and strange as it may seam Jehovah, Mighty God, Alpha and Omega are names that we can show is interchangeable within The Godhead, in Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
DId you note the names in there, but these are passages that talk about Jesus Christ, also we note that never has there been a time that God has not been, read in Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Also in Hebrews God THE FATHER address Jesus as God notice Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
1:8 But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom.
1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, [even] thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Also Jehovah is the creator of all things but all of John 1, brags of Jesus being just that, also John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM. Do you understand Jesus is talking about the I AM of Exodus 3 and the burning bush with moses THE ONE that gave us the ten commandments [not the ten suggestions] also when He was address one of His deciples He said in John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Show us the Father?

My King James bible at Psalms 83:18 which my mother swears is the written word of God calls God Jehovah.
People who swear by the KJV bible and read its for front and say yes this is God's word.
then turn around and say no that is not God's name.
either the KJV bible is correct or it isn't.
Or do you just change the bible to say what you want?

Answer this statement; God can't be tempted, but Jesus was tempted in every point man was tempted.
God can't die, but yet Jesus died on the cross and gave up the ghost (life or breath), and if he didn't die , we are still in our sins, and will die without hope.
But he was a mediator between God and man, being part God and part man, a perfect ambassador and can understand both God and man and mediate between the two, born of woman , conceived of God.

The Lord and Lady are my personal personification, but I believe that all gods are one God. Christianity is the same as Wicca, and Magick is the same as prayer. The Mother (mary)/Father(God)/Son (Jesus) evolution is the same concept, but it could be applied to any religion based on the continuation of human life. : )
