You still don't get it, eh? Even at the age of 45, sigh...
What matters is that Jesus died 2,000 years ago. On a cross. For our sins. And we are saved. We're not selfish, just saved.
That's all that matters.
Feelings of all those people that lived back then never matter! It doesn't matter how Joseph felt when his wife told him that God made her pregnant. It doesn't matter how Jesus' little brother felt, being the brother of a guy that claimed to be a messiah. It doesn't matter how the raped girls felt that were sold to their rapists for 50 Shekkel or whatever.
It simply doesn't matter. Because if all that mattered, it all of a sudden would make so little sense. And we can't have that, now can we?

is this tied to the present day comparable rape question ? I think of they gave solutions like "God could in no way inquire from me to rape my daughter". Yeah. Thumpers. Eh. I practically handed this question via. Why ? nicely, actually you got here upon yet yet another hollow interior the Abrahamic religions. ingredient is, the Abrahamic faith (Judaism and it is 2 babies, Christianity and Islam) are so finished of holes that they appear as if colanders. I mean, it isn't any longer quite a undertaking anymore. you in basic terms variety of think of of them for somewhat and presto! a hollow looks. I mean, the very worst movies ever made have not got that many plot holes. however the Abrahamics ? Like Swiss, F**king cheese.

Only if he ran away... I'd rather take my chances in the wilderness than sleep in the same house with a man that can hear from god at any moment and decide to kill me.

Probably. Most people in that time and that place worshipped Ba'al, who always wanted children sacrificed to him.
Isaac knew he was safe from being given to Ba'al. The OT God seems pretty brutal to us, but for that time and that place, He was pretty progressive folks.

...Besides - ok, dying on the cross isn't a nice experience either, but honestly, having to kill your own son seems a really tough thing. I don't have any kids myself, but I know that seeing your children die is one of the most dreadful experiences out there - add to this seeing yourself kill them!... How come that that didn't wash already the sins of our ancestors?!

Of coarse he could, He knew God would provide. And provide the sacrifice he did. John 3:16

He was able to sleep fine, because from that point on he always slept with a 9-inch dagger under his pillow in case his dad started hearing voices again.

I imagine that Issac was comforted by the great faith of his father. And also amused by God's keen sense of humor. "Wacky Lord, I swear!"
