What does it mean when you have an experience, spiritually, so powerful it makes you shiver like you are cold but you are not? I get that often, not because of hormones and whatnot, but becuase of learning things. Reading the Quran, for example, when I learn something new and am in a "battle" to show the truth of it, I get these "shakes". What could it mean? I've also had odd islamic dreams and keep having them (those who know me and know the two questions I asked about them long ago know what I mean). I keep having dreams about that certain person that everyone knows I dreamed about. What does this mean?

I would think it means because you are touched.
I still get the chills and smile when I walk into a really really old church. People live and died and married and had children there. People had joy and sorrow. Its holy ground. And I am not Christian! Finding something deep in your faith is a good thing.

Asalam Alikoom Sister, I will tell you that you shouldn't share your dreams or try to have them translated because someone might translate the dream wrong and change the meaning of your dream! There are Hadith on it one I forget the details..about a man who died and his body was in two halves...but the point someone changed the meaning by translating wrong. You should just know that Good dreams are from Allah and Bad dreams are from Satan. As for when you hear something in Islam and you shiver in fear, Your sins fall off you like leaves fall in autum when the wind blows. :-) Masalam Sister

It could mean that you are not tapped in properly to the rest of the world. You are exuding extra energy with no way of grounding it. This can lead to anxiety issues. I would say you need to find an outlet for the extra energy when you ge tthat way. Drink some water and do some breathing exercises... maybe laying on your back on the ground.
Shaky is not good... and the Creator does not want you shaking and week or worked up soyour heart is racing...worship a peaceful God... follow a peaceful way... keep peace within you.
