If he doesnt give you a sign to reaffirm your faith and you become faithless isnt this his fault and not yours. Arent there so many nonbelieves out there because God never came through with a sign to help them believe. Isnt it his fault that they are non believers through his lack of personal intervention on their parts? Shouldnt it be give and take? I give him my faith and love and he answers my prayers(ALL MY PRAYERS). i know sometimes what people ask for isnt in their best interests but shouldnt they be allowed to find this out for thremselves?

You have a little bit of a perception issue. You are referring to the Omniscient, Omnipotent, Creator of the entire universe. Everything you have has been made possible by Him.

You ask "shouldn't it be give and take?" That's all you and I have done since we drew our first breath...TAKE.

He owes us nothing and we owe him everything.

You should be concerned about what comes beyond this life. Take the test below. It will help put a perspective on things.

If you believe in the scriptures and in God, then you should understand that signs and wonders do not create faith.
The Bible is clear, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17) If you want more faith then read the scriptures.

Let's put the question this way, if God were to give you a sign would you worship Him and love Him? You will say "Ok... so what? God exists and He has proven it by giving a sign to me". But does that really give you a desire to worship and follow Him and His commandments for the rest of your life? Sorry... only faith permits that and unfortunately it doesn't come through God proving Himself that He exists by some miraculous wonder. So why should He give anyone a sign?

What have you done to show Him a sign that you believe? In the bible, Jesus tells the Pharisees that the only signs they will get are the ones that have already happened because they didn't have the true faith. If in your heart you are true believer, you will need no sign. If you fall away because you haven't gotten a sign then you were never meant to believe in the first place and God knew that. He will not give signs to those that are seeking a sign to stay in the fold because you have already had ideas of leaving him. You are not faithful, and therefore He is not faithful to you. Signs are given to those that fervently and wholeheartedly seek to draw closer and please Him, not to those that give Him ultimatums on how they are going to leave Him if he doesn't give them one. You of little faith, how long will He put up with this faithless generation?

This may be the very sign you are looking for. I believe that God has given us a sign, and that this sign tells us that the faith he gives us will never falter. He may let it be tested right up to our breaking point but he will then provide the way of escape. Of course you have probably figured out by now that I am referring to 1 Cor 10.13 and the Greek word peirasmos. I have concluded that the best translation of this word is "Test" or "Trial" and that this test speaks to tests of faith as we see in the previous 12 verses of this chapter. Unfortunately it may also mean an "enticement to sin". Frequently in Scripture peirasmos is rendered as "temptation" in which it is left to the reader to determine whether the connotation is "Test or Trial" or "enticement to sin". And most often the latter is concluded to be the proper interpretation in 1 Cor 10.13. But my research, including correspondence with the Rev. Dr. Greg Lockwood, author of the Concordia Commentary "! Corinthians" confirms my interpretation. So I believe we should keep this verse in mind when we are concerned about our faith and memorize it thusly: "No test of faith has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tested beyond what you are able, but with the test will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it".

Examples in Scripture are many and include Abraham when told to sacrifice Isaac and Moses when told to return to Egypt. Christ has also promised "neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand" John 10.28.

I have learned the hard way to be careful what you ask for because your prayer may just be answered.
And, yes, there were times when I asked for "signs" that he was listening. One of two things happened:
1. He gave me the exact "sign" I requested.
2. He implanted the question "who are you talking to?" in my head.
He was right, if I didn't think he was listening or, in fact, that he was real (which I've done at times, I admit) then---who was I asking the question to?
I think he gave me a very good answer.

God tells you to have faith. How is it having faith if you need proof. God is willing to love(unconditionally) as long as you are will to have unconditional faith in him. Don't tempt God he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. The only thing God wants is your blind fiath. (for those are the blessed, that believe without seeing) Believing is seeing. IF you truly believe then why would you have to see it. I mean isn't it kind of cowardly to only believe something after you've seen it.

Perhaps you have missed the sign He has given. Sometimes the sign comes from another person or many other things. Or maybe His answer has not come yet and He is saying to wait. Continue in your prayers. As for non-believers, they must have an open heart and mind and must come to Him humbly and sincere.

If you faith is failing and you ask God for a sign and he doesn't give you one? then OPEN your eyes...the sign's are all there you just are having trouble recognizing them because of your lack of faith.
Your asking God to justify your faith in him...that itself is against faith.
You have to want to see the signs to recognize them.
