Click into wickopedia or national geographic. If the polar ice caps and the glaciers were to melt the whole earth would be covered with 200' of water. Show me proof that isn't true.
Because they seem to believe it and so does Encarta.
Encyclopedia? Show me the proof it won't cover the earth?

where are you getting this information that says it won't?

Yes, I was talking about the flood of noah's day. and at that time they didn't have Mt. Everest.
If all the polar ice caps melt the water level would raise so high that if you was on Mr. Everest their wouldn't be oxygen that high.

There is none.

You will notice in Genesis that the earth was surrounded by a vapor canopy before the flood. Gen1;7

In order to flood the earth the Lord had to poke a hole in the ozone layer to collapse the canopy Gen7;11

Rain was not neccessary before this because the Lord watered the earth through a fog or morning dew Gen2;6

In order for the flood waters to subside the atmosphere (firmament) was altered by the lack of the protective vapor canopy so that now the poles would freeze and the air would hold moisture aloft in the form of clouds.

Melt the poles and drop all the clouds and we would indeed be flooded again.

Once again science supports Genesis

This is so confusing the earth at that time during the flood of Noah's day? If that is what we are talking about?
Didn't have the huge mountains it wrinkled like a prune and had small rolling hills. It was the weight of the water that caused the continents to rip apart and rise above the water.
There wasn't any mount Everest, or other huge mountains.
Besides: In that book on evolution it said, "The earth was covered with water and from this primevil soup came the vegetation that then turned into small fishes. Then they flew and became birds.
But the point is the evolutionists say the earth was one day covered with water and then say it couldn't happen.
Can't have it both ways guys.

The water from the flood is still here. The mountains were not as high or the oceans as deep before the flood. During the time the earth was cover with water, God raised up higher mountains and deepened the oceans and created other areas for the waters to drain off into. Since God raised up higher mountains, much water is now in the form of snow and glaciers, more snow and ice on Antartica and more ice at the Artic, we also now have water in the form of clouds all around our earth that was not there before, as the Scriptures say that a mist would come up from the ground to water everything, there was no rain before the flood. You also had all the springs of the deep, underground water, that ground broke open to flood the earth and that water has returned underground. There are scoffers, yes, they just don't understand God's word as unbelievers aren't given the Holy Spirit so as to understand.

Where does 200' of water cover the 28000' Mount Everest? So no, there's not enough water to cover the entire earth so that no land was showing, and that's what it would take for a total, global flood, which never happened. A regional flood has been proven by science DID happen, but to cover the entire world, yes, would be impossible.

And they are making an assumption that the Bible seems to contradict. They assume that the seas were as deep, and that the mountains were as high, as they currently are. If the seas were to have a uniform depth of , say 200 to 300 metres, and the land were to have a uniform height above sea level of , say, 50 to 100 m, even without the melting of the ice at the poles, the earth would be totally flooded.

No not quite. Your not considering the water trapped in the ground which the Bible said burst forth and the ice caps. Why do you think people are worried about global warming, have you seen some of their models if we loose the ice caps? The animal question is an easy one. First who said they would have to be large animals. If God was to repopulate the earth He would want to start with young animals who would be able to breed. Plus these are animals that God wanted. In Genesis God separated the "clean" and "unclean" animals. Of the "clean" animals there were to be by sevens and the "unclean" were by twos. The other problem with your argument is that you're assuming the conditions were the same as today. They were not, remember they never experienced rain before. Listen I could go on but first read the Genesis account before you criticize it. Most of what your asking could be answered by a clear reading of the scripture.

How about you cite where Wikipdeia or National Geographic say that? How about you can't, because you're obviously lying.

"If all the ice on Earth disappeared, then the total rise of sea level would be 80 meters (262 feet)." --http://askascientist.binghamton.edu/may-jun/02jun05ask.html

I bet this is the sort of thing you read and then probably INTENTIONALLY distorted the facts to suit your ends:

"If all of the ice in Antarctica melted it would cause all of the world's oceans to rise by about 200 feet." --http://www.usatoday.com/weather/resources/askjack/aicefaq.htm

Hey buddy, the sea level rising by 200 feet and "the whole earth would be covered with 200 [feet] of water" isn't even CLOSE to the same thing! Get your facts straight, liar.

Actually that is factually incorrect.

Most of the earth would be under water, but not all of it.

Did a report on it a while back for class. I definitely could be wrong, but as there is no such thing as "wickopedia" I won't doubt my intelligence when compared to yours.

Wiki is not scientific data. If all the icecaps in the world were to melt, sea level would rise about 60-75 meters (200-250 feet). That would NOT cover the earth.
