in my previous question,
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070505043118AAqtx1g&r=w
i mentioned my observation of what atheists are doing in this place.
to my horror, one of them told me it is because of christians that they are doing this!
do you blame the 33 dead people of the VT incident for provoking the korean student to shoot them to death? if you don't , why are you blaming christians for your own wrong deeds?

XD. another atheist trying to blame christians for that huh?
you said "if you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen". so why are atheists still in the kitchen throwing foul words around instead of getting out of the kitchen?

novaangel: i didnt use the VT incident to my advantage, i felt sorry for them, im just saying the shooter was wrong to blame others for his actions, just as the atheists are wrong to blame christians for "causing atheists to react in a foul way".
and you, my friend, are just as good as those who will never admit being wrong. NEVER. i hope your pride wont lead to your downfall.

It is always easier to blame others than take a good look at your own shortcomings.
They even do not try to do right by God.

Why do you assume my deeds are wrong? And why are you not chastising everyone who insults others beliefs? Do you think it's acceptable for Christians to insult atheists and other religions? Many people on the forum use it to vent and insult others. It is neither limited to atheists or caused by any one particular group. I don't care what religion you are. You can insult me, seek to understand me, or try to convert me. None of that can change who I am. I am an atheist because I believe there is no god; you can believe whatever you want to believe. You have no idea what goes on in my mind. So please don't make the assumption that I care about Christianity in any way, shape, or form. I don't live to insult Christians or bash their religion. I don't believe there is a purpose to life as you claim I believe. Stop being part of the problem; you are no better than the atheists you have mentioned.

Christians shouldn't behave wrong if they don't want to be blamed for their own wrong deeds? No one is being blamed for the 33 deaths at Virginia Teach except the one who did the killing. But probably many more than him was responsible. It is very hard to assign blame when one goes over the edge for quite often he is pushed. But this has nothing to do with being an Atheist. It was obviously a mental disorder. Why is it so horrible to find that Atheists disagree with Christians. You should feel proud that we find you to be such worthy opponents.

you may make it look black and white... yet we exercising morals continuously in the thoughts we make on a daily basis. So... without source, this individual says adultery is okay, and this individual says it relatively is incorrect... and all the grey factors in between. i don't have faith that calling your very own morals, day in and holiday, is sufficient. it is going to ruin down, and reason harm and kill relationships. happens all the time. There must be an authoritative source... and the single that made us is obvious approximately residing, and what works. helpful, the massive issues like homicide and stealing are sparkling... yet problems with great harm that destroy lives left as much as the guy would be unfavorable... adultery, drug and alcohol use, mendacity whilst needed, etc. we are in charge... yet each guy will do those issues of their existence ... and are we to blame to easily ourselves? there is something extra desirable, and the sensible draw close for it, by fact it brings existence.

Atheists are never wrong. the answer above mine for example, says that atheists say the wrong things because christians provoked them.
Wow, great reasoning by atheists.
Someone asks for prayer, atheists are provoked and have to insult the one who asked.

and someone must have provoked this atheist to come up with all the insulting questions in his list.

It has nothing to do with atheists, it is totally the fault of christians, that's what they will say.
Like i said, they never are wrong in their eyes. the word sorry is a religious word to them; hence it is to be avoided.

DONT GENERALIZE. If some people (therefore not A WHOLE GROUP) said something...you probably provoked them. The fact that you're using a serious incident to make a point shows we can only feel sorry for you.

You are a shameless person, exploiting the VT killings. To refute your dishonest hypothesis, the 32 victims did not shoot first. There are plenty of "Christians" who post hateful and incendiary material, with you towards the forefront. You are hypocrisy personified: you are the pot calling the kettle black, dishing it out and not being able to take it, and pointing out the mote in your brothers eye while ignoring the beam in your own, all at once.

People have trouble accepting blame for their own actions. They have to blame someone for making them act in a certain manner. This is human nature.
ex. I ran him off the road because he made me mad when he cut in front of me.
ex. I'm suing McDonalds because I'm fat.
ex. I'm suing McDonalds because I spilled hot coffee on myself.
Get the picture?

This question is as nonsensical as the one you linked to.
Atheists would have little to say to Christians if they would learn to stfu about their beliefs and keep their faith personal, as it is supposed to be, instead of trying to convert the world.
Us atheists get annoyed by that pretentious arrogance, and in turn point out how silly your little myth is, and you get your panties in a bunch and cry persecution. That's basically the story--you dish it out like crazy, but you can't take it.
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Here in the real world, we don't take kindly to superstitious scare tactics being used to manipulate people into doing your will.

You're warped- you deliberately set out to provoke a sharp response so that you can turn round and say I told you all atheists were nasty. Low life.
