My father's dear friend has devoted his life to Swami Vivekanda Ashram. Personally, I am not in a position to answer your question properly, because I, myself have read very little about Vivekanda's teachings. I find it extremely difficult to comprehend the Literature to be able to practise it. But I can share what I understood, after explaination provided by my Uncle.
Its believed that a Human form is the best of all forms of existence. Human can achieve whatever human desires. Gods have little human side to them. Gods do get jealous. Gods do get angry. God should be free of all human weaknesses. When Gods go wrong they have to take the Punishment. Gods have to take birth as humans. They have to go through all body sufferings like mortals do.
Human soul certainly receives the fruits of its action. A human soul, that does great deeds in human form, but dies unnoticed, takes birth again. This soul finds a favourable atmosphere where the soul can enjoy the fruits of its previous birth. Soul enjoys the fruits of actions of his previous birth but gets to see more sufferings. After multiple births and rebirths the soul is tired of this cycle and wants to be liberated( Its almost like having to see same film about a 100 times and not wanting to see the same a 101st )That's when soul gets Moksha.

Just because people do not believe in God, does not mean that God does not exist.
After they die, they will be resurrected along with all the others who believe in God.
Revelation 20; 12,13
At that time they will be told what is the truth..
It is on the basis of what their reaction to that truth, that they will be judged on.
Not on what they did wrong in their life.
(Romans 6:23) For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.
Their death has paid for their sins.

The Bible tells us that there will be two resurrections (brought back to life) - one resurrection will be to eternal life, and one resurrection to judgement.
1. if the dead person is a Christian i.e. believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour for the forgiveness of sins, then the person will be raised from the dead when Jesus Christ returns. This is the first resurrection.
2. if the person is not a Christian, they will wait in the grave until the second resurrection at the end of all time when all the rest of the dead will be judged according to their works and receive their punishment or reward appropriate to their works.

Atheists will go the same place everyone goes--nowhere. There is absolutely no evidence that human consciousness can survive death--in fact, sometimes it perishes BEFORE death (see: coma). The idea that our consciousness can somehow go on when its source (the brain) stops functioning is merely wishful thinking, with nothing to back it up.
All this talk of "souls" and "spirits" that exist independent of the body and that therefore can survive death are, likewise, wishful thiking with no realism nor foundation.

I think I can sum it up with a joke. ;-)
A Atheist dies. After walking along a road for a while, he comes to a fiery place filled with smoke, stench and horrible screaming, and recognizes several Christians writhing in the flames. He exclaims, "No **** ! So the Christians were right,
and I´m going to Hell !" "Don´t you worry", said a valkyrie riding by. "Asgard is just round the bend of the road.
This is Muspellheim and its fire-thurses... we try to accommodate everyone !"

They will be buried in the ground, and then their body will become fertilizer, and from the fertilizer will spring forth a giant tree, and the tree will grow to be big and strong.
Then one day, a big old, hairy, sweaty dude will come snarling up to the great big, beautiful tree and violently cut it down. Once it's down, he'll drag it through the woods, and take it to a paper factory, where it will be ground and woven into the thinnest paper. From there, the paper will be sent to a publishing house on on that paper will be printed...
...the Bible.

I'm not sure where any of us will go... God is the only one who knows what will be.
Revelations 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more girlef or crying or pain."
It's things like this that God has put in the bible that give me the hope and joy in my faith and takes away my fears. Hopefully we'll all be able to take part in such a glorious place together.

They are going to Hell along with anyone who doesn't accept Christ in their life. There are people who believe that there is a God, but if they don't accept them in their hearts they will burn with the atheists.

Atheists, like everyone else, will go nowhere after their (note the spelling) deaths. The business of going ceases along with the electro-chemical activity of the brain.
While it would be pleasant to believe that good people (us, of course) go to a splendid heaven of eternal joy and bad people (others) go to eternal torment, it just doesn't work that way.
We are very fortunate simians.
