having children when they are not financially able to support them etc...

I thought Christians were to be responsible...but default rates are equal among Christians and non-Christians alike...

Why is it the responsible ones left holding the bag for the losers who suck off of the middle class...get it people...when you default on loans or credit cards...it is not the companies that are left holding the bag...or the ultra wealthy...it is the middle class that are responsible people...

Middle class people are paying for all of the poor choices that irresponsible people are making.....

My question...why do so many Christians default on loans? Why do so many Christians have children that they cannot afford to raise on their own? Why do you expect society to pay for your poor choices?

This assumes Gennisiss is literally true. That being the case I've heard it said that orignal sin essentially boils down to a simple matter of disobediance. Eve thought a thought independant of Gods will and acted on it at the suggestion of the serpent ;ie eating of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Now, was the SIN in the act itself or was it what the act alledgely produced, that is sexual self knowledge, because apparently Adam and Eve wern't using all of their anatomical gifts up untill this point, or am I missing something ?

I know this question might sound infantile, but what I'm getting at is what do YOU think is the most interesting, engrossing, etc. religion or philosophy, and why? Keep in mind, I'm not looking for a Jesus Saves thing here, I'm more focused on an objective take. I'm sure there are a number of religions out there I'm not even aware of (just discovered Zoroastrianism today). I'd like to broaded my horizons, as it were, and figured some of you out there might have something constructive to say.

Like I said, avoid using this as a placard for your own religion. Although I would like to know why you find it worthy of devotion, avoid generic responses like "God and Jesus are great, therefore Christianity is the most interesting religion." Likewise, avoid the lame liberal banter...ie: all religions are just peachy keen wonderful, lets hold hands and sing.

What keeps people like this from being suicidal? Especially if they do not have a family? I understand not fearing death, but to want to die that badly just disturbs me a little.

"Jesus conquered death and Hell for me so I have no fear of dying, and actually look forward to it. If I didn't still have my wife and children to take care of, I would be glad to go now, right this moment even while I am typing!

Eye has not seen nor ear heard nor has it ever entered into the heart of men the things that God has prepared for those that love HIm.

And there shall be no more pain, nor crying, nor sickness for the former things have all passed away.

And God shall be with them and shall be their God. Read all of Revelation Chapters 21 and 22. WOW! What a glorious existence beyond this life! Can't wait! "

(I'm betting someone will be offended by my question. If so, I apologize.)

that is for you to be convinced that there isn't a god? i'm talking about proof here. not something that happened thousands of years ago, that people can't disprove except through common sense, i.e. the world is way over six thousand years old, human did evolve, etc.

For God’s sake please understand that God is not a natural thing!! God is a Spirit!! Just like the angels demons etc... Science is not compatible with spiritual beings!!

So when people ask for scientific proof of God!! They don't have a clue of what they're talking about!!

Can Science prove faith, love, hate, etc...? I don't think so...

Science can prove natural things but it can't prove spiritual things!!

I hope you understand this!!
But many of you tend to confuse God with science which is totally wrong!!

I know that I'm not perfect and nobody is but if you would just change your perception of perfection couldn't we all be perfect in our own way? Did someone slip something in my brownies?

Obviosuly no one is perfect only GOD Almighty, christians are harder on themselves first because we strive to please GOD and do his will and when we fail we ask for forgiveness..

What about other religions including our friends the *Atheists*
here are others a work in progress and who do you aim to please in life most of all.

The Bible tells us that God told Abraham, I will bless those bless you and curse those who curse you. I believe that the United States of America was set up for God's purpose and His kingdom. This is why we have been blessed so very much. We support Israel because it is Scriptural. What do you think?

It's not that were against the idea of a supreme being, it's that we don't believe in a supreme being. It's the religionists that we prevail against, not any form of ultimate reality.

Did you know the Jews have been commanded not to create a state before the Messiah comes ?

Did Zionists hijack Judaism and usher in their long awaited Messiah ?

Is he actually the False Messiah (Antichrist)
that we are told will rule from Jerusalem ?

--------

We have been forsworn by G'd "not to enter the Holy Land as a body before the predestined time," "not to rebel against the nations," to be loyal citizens, not to do anything against the will of any nation or its honor, not to seek vengeance, discord, restitution or compensation; "not to leave exile ahead of time." On the contrary; we have to be humble and accept the yoke of exile. To violate the oaths would result in "your flesh will be made prey as the deer and the antelope in the forest," and the redemption will be delayed. (Talmud Tractate Ksubos 111 ).

Do you see it as a religious thing or do you do it out of love?

Being an athiest myself I have been with the same person for 5 years. There seems to be no reason to get married except religious one. I consider him as a husband, we even have one child together and want more. By common law we are even recognized as married. But really..Whats the point?

I'm not asking this question for any other reason than to get you to think about your walk with God. How many people do you ACTUALLY try to witness to in a week's time? Now before you start giving yourself accolades, remember there IS a difference between giving a half-hearted Jesus loves you speech to someone and actually having a burden for their salvation. During last night's service I realized that alot of the christian that I know, including myself, aren't doing enough to reach this world.
