Quite often religious persons get criticized because they base their beliefs on a book and have hollow proofs.

But what if… a long time ago, about a million years ago, an alien civilization had changed ape DNA and resulted in our specie.
Wouldn’t it be true that atheists, would have based their own beliefs in to a book - Darwin’s Descent of Man’ – and this alien could be considered a kind of God? The proofs of our evolution aren’t a small amount of bones?

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.

He sends you flowers every spring.

He sends you a sunrise every morning.

Face it, friend. He is crazy about you!

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

As far as Religion&spirituality is concerned?

Me persnally, would like to hope that in the future everyone will believe in the same God&will be in unity,so there would be no need for fights, arguments¬ many if any disagreements.

But of course that type place is in another universe somewhere completely closed off where we cant reach it.

What about everyone else?

You may differ; but the fact is that most Christians carry only labels of Christianity. Abusing other religions is their forte believing that it will please our Lord. Getting intemperate and wild when Christianity is discussed on its merits and demerits in practice are other traits of some Christians. Tolerance that is the most essential quality in practising religion is another missing concept. Many promoting factors and practices are purely nonsensical and laughable to enlightened true Christians. Your response may perhaps open the eyes of many who reside in the well. lileeann33

That is what they were called back then my priest told me. I don't know if it's true anymore. Alot of pagans seem like nice people and I don't understnad why they would want to burn churches.

Quite often, it is suggested to answer the door nude when Jehovah's Witnesses come knocking. Here in Kansas City, if a neighbor complained seeing you nude at your front door, regardless of the reason, you get charged with a sex crime. If convicted, that means having to register as a sex offender, though this only applies to male offenders.

What are the laws in your area?

On this note, there was a case in our neighborhood where a couple answered the door naked, thinking that the suited man and woman at their door were witnesses. They were a plain clothes police officer and a social service grief counselor, there to notify them that their daughter had been killed in an early morning drunk driving accident.

I have noticed that many disfellowshipped Jehovah's Witnesses (exes now) get on these forums or just anywhere in the world really to spread lies and hate about the the organization. After all they were disfellowshipped because they would not head the counsel of the elders and stop practicing the unclean thing whether it be fornication, gambling, drunkeness, stealing, etc. Wouldn't it behoove them to clean themselves up, repent and show Jehovah that they have repented and are worthy of his wonderful worldwide clean organization once again; thus worthy of his kingdom after Armageddon?--- a kingdom free of crime, illness, debauchery, and death?

Atheists deny 100% of the gods.

Christians deny 99.99% of all the gods.

Polytheists deny far less than 99.99% of all the gods.

So, when related to polytheists, aren't Christians and atheists really, really close to believing the same thing? A 0.01% difference doesn't sound like much to me.

I am sure that there are many other categories that might suit you. IF you want to suggest to me that as a Christian you are living a "Christian" life, then you should not be in forums to insult everyone else on the face of the earth. Please petition Yahoo for an appropriate category for an anti-EVERYONE chat, so that you may rant away. Then you will not have to be offended when people dislike your answers.
I find the insensitivity to others rather distasteful. Does anyone else?

How would you suggest going to God in prayer asking for a want and not a need. I know God is not a genie that grants wishes but there is something I would like to have in particular but don't want to approach God and look selfish. How do I pray for this "want" and still seek Gods will be done?

That if a gay guy wanted saved, he could. As long as he kept the thoughts to himself, and didn't look at gay prn, and stopped with the gay sinning, he could. It'd be like a gay giving the oath of abstinence for the rest of his life. Do you agree? Becuase I'm sure that God would give them a chance at Heaven.

Ever notice the ridiculous names Protestant congregationalists types use for their churches which are not in the bible why is that?

for example Mt. Zion assembly, Eagleridge in the sky chapel, The Bridge, Staff of Mose Church, Cornerstone church, David's chapel etc etc... the worst ones are TV evangelists who come up with the most ridiculous ones because they think its some sort of marketing campaign. Good Lord have mercy.

I went to church with a friend of mine becuase she wanted me to go? Apparenlty some guy in poland measured how much this dead guy weighed. He then measured his body an hour later and found that his body weighed 3 ounces less. He claimed that the 3 ounces of weight loss resulted from the mans spirit leaving his body and going to heavon. He then claimed that this is proof that god exists. To my surprise, everyone in the church stood up and started clapping and screaming for joy. Have these people completely lost their minds. I think it was christian church because the building had a cross on it.
