It's impossible to KNOW Jesus and turn your back on Him. If you really knew Him, you would love Him.

That is NOT personal opinion, but fact.

Islam is very precise about Muslims keeping themselves clean and smelling good at all times. Islam is a beautiful religion, full of wisdom and harmony. If this wonderful religion is followed properly then a typical Muslim would only be a great example to follow.

Sadly, so many follow culture that very few actually follow the true Islam, and I'm not exempt from that as I am a human as well, but I can do my best. The Prophets (PBUT) applied colognes as well. What do you think of this?

Human equality is a big issue and Islam does deal with it. What do you think of the evidence found?

I like going to big churches, as I don't like getting involved. I like to stay on the fringes. I'd like to meet a christian man and I wonder if the fact that I don't mix socially within my church is preventing me from meeting one. When I tell my friend that I feel my lack of socialising within the church may prevent me from meeting Mr Right, she'll say, "Why should you change your personality? If someone likes you in your church, they'll come up and speak to you. You don't have to join their social activities". I was just wondering what your opinions are, please?

Speak honestly please, why don't you believe in Qur'an? It's the most scientific text ever written and everyone honestly knows deep down that Jesus was just a prophet.

Bible is crap by the way, especially because it doesn't agree with truth, i.e. Qur'an.... Any scientist or educated honest man will tell you that.

Occurence of Big Bang in Qur'an...

1- The Universe was formed from hot gaseous in the Noble Quran.

2- The Bible never mentioned anything about the formation of the Universe.

3- Articles and links of official web sites that confirm the Noble Quran's claims.

4- When the Cosmic Crunch to the Universe occurs, the Day of Judgment shall come.

Prophet Muhammad predicted that the Sun will rise from the West.

I recently learned of a family member that has removed herself and her children from the faith she, and they, have followed their entire lives, and it has caused some tension between some family members. But don't we all live under ONE God? Does it mean that they are less Christian because they are practicing another faith, and do we need to declare a particular faith to be a Christian? Isn't being a Christian as simple as receiving, and accepting, a gift from God. Does this gift come wrapped differently, depending on your faith?

Many of the months of the year are named after Roman Gods ie March = the Roman god of war Mars January is the month of the two faced god Janus June is for the Goddess Juno. July named for the deified Julius Ceaser, August for Augustus etc.
Should the twelve months of the year be named after the twelve disciples instead?

Say today could be the 25 of Judas or say your birthday could be the 11 of Doubting Thomas. How cool would that be??

Lobby your government and it could happen, get those Pagans off our calenders now!!!

People pray for strength, courage, inner peace, hope and a number of other things that are purely internal. If an atheist can attain these qualities without faith, then what good is prayer? If your answer has something to do with my soul being in danger, please provide proof that A) I have one and B) it is in trouble without prayer. I am NOT trying to offend anyone. If you pray I want to know why. Thank you.

why are we so determined that we are right and you are wrong? I mean, if your a christian and you believe the bible and follow its precepts than good for you. if your a muslim and believe the Quran and follow its precepts then good for you. If your an atheist and dont believe in religion then good for you...but why do we get so angry when others dont believe what we believe to be true?

I'm happy being a muslim, dont want to be a christian or anything else, dont really care if christians believe what i believe or not as long as they dont get all sanctimonious about it. same for other people and religions.

God says in the Quran...'to you your religion and to me mine." how come no one can really live by that peacefully without either verbal or physical abuse? and i'm talking all religions here and its followers.

http://www.answering-christianity.com/jihad.htm

Jihad means struggling in the name of Allah Almighty. Jihad doesn't always mean a war or battle. Any mean for spreading Islam and the Truth, or to fight for what is right and condemn what is wrong (such as fighting the bad and helping the oppressed even if they were not Muslims) are considered Jihad.

I am doing Jihad right now by maintaining my web site, because it is a tool that can be used for spreading Islam and the Truth. And because it is also a Media tool, it could be used for fighting for what is right and condemning what is wrong.

Islam is not a religion of arms and swords! When Allah Almighty revealed the Noble Quran to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, and Muhammad became the Messenger of GOD Almighty, Muhammad had to spread Islam to 365 Pagan Arab Tribes. These tribes showed so much hostility toward the Muslims and Islam, and have imposed so many battles against the Muslims.

What do you think of the link?

Islam has Ten Practices (Furu al-Din) and all good Muslims are supposed to follow them. These are: Salāt (Prayer), Sawm (Fast), Hajj (Pilgrimage), Zakāt (Alm-giving), Khums (One-fifth tax), Jihād (Struggle), Amr-Bil-Ma'rūf (Joining forces with the Good), Nahi-Anil-Munkar (Opposing what is evil), Tawalla (To love the followers of the Faith), Tabarra (To disassociate from those who oppose Allah or His Prophet PBUH).

What concerns me is Jihād. It has two elements: internal struggle to overcome one's own evil, and external struggle to destroy the evil outside (including destroying infidels).

I'm not a violent person and I wouldn't be comfortable if I had to kill people. So my question is, plain and simple: can Jihād completely exclude killing people?

I think Islam is the only religion that has all the answers I've been seeking all my life. The Qur'an is a beautiful book. I just need to know that there is no hidden violence in the precepts themselves.

Thank you all.

I'm a fairly new christian and I live in a small community and have been to the three churches that are here and they all teach the "Feel Good Message" I call it....kinda like Joel Osteen ....just tell you to be good and all that....and money is always brought up. I don't feel like I would be growing in my faith at any of these churches. They read 1 thing out of the bible and talk about that the whole time but giving examples over and over in circles. I stopped going and just do Bible study at home with my family ....anyway will I go to hell if I don't attend a church? Is that a sin? I'm a new christian ......I just need some help about this issue. Thank you! God Bless!

Or Norwegian atheists? Or Swedish? Or Japaneze? Or Dutch? Or Finnish? Or Danish atheists?

Just wondering, because all those countries really have many, many people that claim not to believe in any gods. And before I start accusing them of the fact that in a foxhole they will probably find out what 'fake atheists' they have always been, I just wanted to be sure.

So, "no atheists in foxholes", is that a global thing, or does it only apply to the USA?

Honestly god is not that powerful.

Plaque summoning, flooding the world. I estimate he is only a level 35 wizard.

There are dieties in Dungeons and Dragons far more powerful then him. Honestly what would good do if Satan had a +5 chaotic pithcfork with 2d extra fire damage. Jesus's Dex is pretty low so I don't think that those cloth robs of water walking would do much go.

Honestly go ask your Preacher what God's Intelligence modifier is.

the root of many of the world's wars for many many years. Might be a cliche but it is TRUE. Atheism and the belief in science is not only common sense and rashional reasonable thinking, it doesn't seem to cause mass wars or the division of neighbouring countries, does it?
